Great place to stay on a budget location which is literally 8-10 minute walk to St Peters / Vatican, 20 mins walk to Piazza del Popolo. Small rooms (easily enough room for 2 - rooms have large double bed, table & sofa) and very clean (daily). We had a street view room but the noise outside wasn't too bad at...

If u want a clean safe no frills attached place in Rome this is a good bet. Our room was everything we needed for a stay in Rome on a budget. We had the basics, a full sized bed, toilet, shower, and sink. The maid comes in the morning and brings breakfast to your room, breakfast was cappuccino, juice and...

"The center of Rome B & B" is all you should expect from your mid range budget stay in Rome. We are a couple stayed in Rome for 4 nights for 100 eur per day including very basic breakfast. Rooms are basic, clean and quiet in a regular resident building 5 minutes walk from the Vatican city. The location is...

Here's our take on the "Center of Rome B&B": ROOM: During our stay at "Center of Rome," the average daily high temperature was around 95 degrees F (35 degrees C). Consequently, the air conditioning at "Center of Rome" was greatly appreciated; after a day of walking around in the blistering heat, the 75 degree room was a lifesaver. I mention...

I went to At The Center of Rome B&B from May 23rd to May 29th 2008. I loved my stay out there. The team out there was very friendly and helped us with a lot of things such as finding the bus stop and change a 200 Euro bill at a local store. Our breakfast was served on time each...

We stayed at the Center of Rome on 212 via Cola di Rienzo on May 7-12, 2008. We were 5 travelling so we booked 2 rooms, 1 twin and 1 triple. We had previously requested that we would have to go out of town on May 8th therefore asked them not to bill us for that day but they did...

An excellent location as a base for sight seeing. The street is one of the main shopping streets and feels very safe. The Vatican City is less than 10 mins walk, and its 5 mins to Ottaviana metro where you can get to most places such as The Colaseum, Palatine, Pantheon etc. Breakfast is served in the room, and consists...

Fantastic B&B!!! We are a family of 4 and finding a reasonable "European" hotel is the key to our travels. After long internet searches I finally came across this B&B. We require a quad room and for 120 Euros a night it is a very good deal. The quad room comes with its own bathroom and a standard European breakfast....

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay . If you want hotel facilities this is not the place to stay but if you want a clean and reasonably large room it is recommended. We did not want a hotel as did not intend to spend much time where we were staying . Close to the Vatican and the Metro > plenty of places...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
