The owners were very helpful.their knowledge of the buses, trains ,sights was amazing.organised an early taxi for us when it was time to leave. Supplied us with a clear map of Rome. The hotel was spotlessly clean . The room spacious with a large comfy bed. There was a fridge and a/c. This was necessary as the noise from the street...

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast included. No frills, but decent rooms with air conditioning and nice shower. Staff went out of their way to help, even calling for taxi at 5 am and being there when we left. Good value for the money. Free wifi, also appreciable.

A friend from Denmark booked this hotel for us. The arrival at the airport was a little chaotic and arrived Termini by train. Took a cab at Termini and was stopped by Police for illegal boarding of taxi. After much discussion we were on our way to the Hotel. Christiana welcomed us with a lovely and warm smile. The hotel...

Stayed here for a week with my husband in June. Owners extremely helpful, giving good advice on local sights and transport links. Close to the station so easy to get to and from at the start and end of the trips. The immediate area around the station is not that great, but you are soon out of this area and...

My friend and I stayed there just for one night. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and polite . The room was great, very clean and comfortable . The thing which did not impress us was breakfast. In general , this hotel is a very good choice, especially in a city like Rome .

Very nice basic hotel within walking distance from Termini station and all major attractions. We spent 150Eur for 3 night stay in January and it was definitely worth the price. Breakfast was very simple, but you have a nice coffee shop next door if you want to get the proper Italian coffee. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would...

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel and totally liked the service there. It has very helpful staff who not only answers your questions but also will give you lots of information about Rome. Breakfast is good enough and includes several types of sausages, cheese, eggs, sweets, fruits and so on. You`ll definitely find something for you. The location...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
