Check-in for this hostel is actually down the street at a restaurant run by the owner, where guests get 10% off meals & drinks & where breakfast is served. This is also the only WiFi point for the hostel, with no connection in the rooms themselves. That was the only problem we had but even then the owner had no...

Firstly, we notified that we were coming in a little bit early only to find a bitter woman telling us to go away and come back later. What is to note is the fact that check in is in a rather crappy restaurant where you have a piece of bread with coffee they want to pass off as breakfast. There...

We stayed in a private which had a very good bathroom and decent bed. It's kind of an awkward position but the restaurant was always busy and was well priced. Plus free breakfast! Staff was always friendly and welcoming. Good location as well.

Despite a relly good location near Termini station, this was by far the worst place I have visited in years. Not really a hostel. Almost impossible to find, rooms are 2 blocks away from the restaurant where you have "breakfast" and that is the only place with wifi. You sleep on some kind of very uncomfortable military-like beds and if...

It was not really a hostel. The restaurant owner fixed up a few rooms for tourists. The apartments were very gloomy. It was like walking into some dark private home. Although the rooms were large. The linens were clean. Bathrooms were so-so. There was no internet in the accommodation itself. Guests had to walk to the restaurant/reception a few buildings...

It was not difficult to find the restaurant where is the hostel reception. Once we were in front of it the waiter asked us if we are looking for the hostel. Check in run fast, we have been taken to our room. Room was spacious, clean with twin beds and a bathroom. Because of the very comfortable we slept like...

The place is incredibly hard to find because there is no sign outside at the check in area. The showers trickled with really dirty bathroom floors. The rooms are decent with comfortable beds, a fan, and extra blankets. The free breakfast is merely a donut. For a cheap place near the train station, this place is not the best.

That morning, my friend and I arrived at the hostel after a long, exhausting night train travel, and I really felt terrible and sick. The staff found out about my poor physical condition, and she allowed us into the room ahead of the scheduled time. The girl at the reception and the Chinese lady are really kind and helpful. The...

The reception is in the pizzeria quite close to the hostel. After check-out you can leave the luggage there for free till the pizzeria closes (11.00 p.m.). The hostel had 3 or 4 rooms. Mine was 6 bed mixed dorm, but the room was so tiny and dark (the window was covered from the outside) and all the beds were...

Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the location was really good near a train station - Termini. The room and the beds were quite nice and so comfortable, but didn't have internet access. The showers weren't good and the bathdroom weren't quite clean. The breakfast great, but didnt have variety. I enjoyed being there. good staff in a good hostel.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
