We stayed in this great B&B 3 nights, and it was just a wonderful experience! The location was perfect (walking distance to some of the more interesting attractions in Rome!), the room very nice and the bathroom perfectly clean. The breakfast was very good, served on a beautiful terrace, and the owner very friendly and very helpful to discover not-touristical...

We stayed here for four nights at the end of our three week trip around Italy. The B&B is small in that it's just one room, so there are not lots of other guests which I liked. The room is large with a comfortable bed and is positioned over the courtyard at the back of the apartment, so it's lovely...

Nice and very quiet accomodation with clean private bathroom and a large bed. The location is ideal to visit Rome by foot and the neigbourhood is safe and quiet. Lauro is very friendly and provides good advice to visit the city. Too bad: the breakfast room was closed and we had to have breakfast on the small table in our...

Lauro gave us good instructions how to reach his place and how to get in contact with him when in Rome. He made us feel at home and cared for. Simple but excellent bed and breakfast place. Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
