We stayed in this apartment for 8 days and it turned out to be in perfect location . 10 minutes walk from the Vatican , just 30 meters away from the metro station and it's on the Main Street of Giulio Cezar with lots of restaurants and shops . Other than that the apartment is at the last floor which... More

We were running late coming in from the airport and the lady was so kind to wait for us and got us all checked in and settled, marked up a map with places to visit and a summary of the locality. Her husband took care of us with a simple but filling breakfast every morning and helped us pretty much... More

Clean and affordable. This was a good way to stay in Rome if you are on a budget and can walk or take the Metro to the tourist sites. Breakfast was on the terrace, and that was nice. Location was in an apartment building, so no lobby or staff around except in the morning.

We stayed at Il Tesoro for 3 nights in May. Due to metro maintenance works we had to search for alternative transport from Termini to reach the B&B. We arrived more than one hour late on a Thursday night (quite a challenge to find the right bus when unprepared) but our host remained very friendly. The B&B is 10m from... More

Just like the other review at first it was very hard to find. We were really angry because two out of the three days we stay at the B&B we didn't had hot water, wich I think is a must have. We didn't feel safe around the B&B plus the building is really old and damaged (the elevator too). Now... More

Incredible service!! Very helpful and friendly. Perfect location - only meters from the metro, and if you like walking, you can reach a great deal of Rome from the b&b. Good breakfast - with great coffee! I can highly recommend the cappuccino. Very clean. The only negative thing: Our room had the faintest smell of old cigarettes.

Our 6 night stay in this small B&B was arranged by family members who live in Rome. It was a fantastic place to stay. The location is superb; literally within a stones throw of the Vatican. Though the B&B is on the 5th floor there is a lift. The owner, Giordano, is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and delivered... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
