We stayed 3 nights and booked a standard room with our toddler daughter this past week. This place has everything you want in 5 star hotel:

1. Comfortable bed. Bed was amazing and we got such a good rest after a long day walking.

2. Bathtub. An amazing deep tub with a jacuzzi which was lovely to enjoy after a full day touring.

3. Complimentary bathrobes and slippers. You get to snuggle in these high quality comforts- very much appreciated.

4. Breakfast Included. This fabulous breakfast had the best baked goods, I could go on and on about the blueberry cornbread. There is also protein choices too which I appreciate and the staff make you whatever coffee drink you prefer. So much food, making a two meal day a nice budget option.

5. Happy Hour. We enjoyed a cocktail in the lounge and all the food that went with it, roasted peppers, bruschetta, fruit salad, tea sandwiches, etc.

6. Food space: The breakfast and happy hour are on the fourth floor and the space is so comfortable. Little nooks and crannies with lovely appointments and a cozy feeling with the dimmed lighting. The outside lounge area which feels like you’re sitting in the secret garden is amazing too with a spectacular view and lovely plants which surround you.

7. Concierge services. The hotel staff easily booked taxis, made recommendations, booked tours for us and that made things so easy for us.

What made this more than just a great 5 star hotel was the incredible staff that work here. Not only do they help you celebrate special occasions like our ten year anniversary with a bottle of wine but they truly do care about you and making things as comfortable as possible.

Here are a list of the extras that you wouldn’t find in many hotels:

1. Provided a beautiful baby cot for us in the room with a cleaning staff that made the baby bed as beautiful as our bed when cleaned. It was so sweet and thoughtful.

2. Allowed us to check in early with a grumpy toddler baby who needed a nap and upgraded us to a deluxe room when they saw it was a party of 3 and the standard room might be too small for us.

3. Let us store our our large American size baby stroller in their office when we were in the hotel. This floored me! And they made it like it was no big deal storing our stroller in their personal space. That was incredibly generous and surprising!

4. Spoiling and fawning over our 18 month old. Many hotels may be put off that we’re bringing a toddler into their nice hotel but this group of staff really truly loved our little girl, holding her, praising her, aka making things easier for us parents. We felt like we were welcomed and that she was a blessing in the hotel.

5. Lastly, I got really sick on the day of checkout and there was a real concern that I needed a hospital. The hotel did everything in their power to give us whatever we needed to make sure we were comfortable, which included allowing us to stay way past check out, brought up herbal tea and showed genuine concern for my safety and well being.

I’d recommend anyone to stay here, especially families. It was everything you want in a nice hotel. What made it such a standout experience was the genuine care and concern showed by the staff! Book this place.

You cannot go wrong if you stay at this hidden little gem of a hotel. We stayed at The Inn at the Roman Forum for 2 nights prior to our Italy/Greece cruise at the end of August. This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at.....from the wonderful staff, great food & accommodations & the fabulous location. After a long overnight flight, we opted to have the hotel limo pick us up at the airport. We walked out of Immigration/Customs & within seconds saw our driver waiting for us. Upon arrival at the hotel...on a secluded little side street...we were greeted with tiramisu & Prosecco in the cryptosaurus while our bags were delivered to the 4 level townhouse around the corner. What a wonderful surprise to be upgraded to this gorgeous place. You can’t find a better hotel location....literally steps from the Roman Forum & a short walk to the Colosseum or Piazza Venezia, where many tours originate. And close to many great little restaurants just a block or 2 away. The neighborhood is very vibrant & we always felt safe. The highlight of our stay was Happy Hour on the rooftop deck each night. The evening snacks were so tasty & we enjoyed meeting & visiting with other guests. A special “hi” to honeymooners Amber & Justin. Breakfast was always wonderful too. The staff go above & beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. We interacted most with Prolay....a delightful young man. Kudo’s to management who realize that their staff is the one of the reasons that this is a 5 star hotel. Book your stay now....you won’t regret it!

This place has a lot of character. Its location is ideal for sightseeing and is near to loads of great restaurants. Our standard rooms were very well appointed equipped with everything you could need. Tea/coffee making, Sky TV, air-con, slippers, gowns, fluffy towels, posh cosmetics, min bar, bottled water - the list is endless. Housekeeping were very efficient and often left us a treat in the evening of home baked biscuit/cookies.

The reception staff were very helpful and arranged tour guides and tours for us in advance all over email. The bar and breakfast staff were very pleasant and wanted to help in anyway that they could. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly varied and comprehensive bearing in mind that this is not a massive hotel.

Four of us stayed for three nights and perhaps the highlight of our visit was when we sat on the roof terrace in the evening sun, sipping complimentary Prosecco whilst watching the sun set over the Roman Forum.

We had a lovely stay at this property, centrally located near many of Rome's ruins. We reserved a junior suite that was spacious for Rome. The entire staff were welcoming, attentive and thoughtful in every detail, especially Valentina at the front desk and Prolay, the man who does everything. The breakfast was delicious with made to order foods along with breakfast cakes baked fresh everyday. Thank you so much for the memories we made at your property.
