We spent a wonderful 5 nights in the quad room at the Momi. The rooms were spotless and the place had a lovely homely feel to it. The owners take great pride in their B&B. We given breakfast supplies in our room to have each morning - fruit juice, coffee, tea, toast, croissants,cereal- which we found very convenient. There was...

We stayed in 3 hotels during our italy trip, this one was the kids favorite. There were four of us, we booked the 5 pax apt which meant we had a bed each. The apt had its own bathroom, and a little kitchen which was stocked with breakfast essentials (including expresso machine). Not a lavish breakfast, but adequate and one...

It was a small apartment, with a kitchenette. Decent enough continental breakfast. We were a family of 4. The bedroom was a decent size, with 5 beds. The rooms were tidy and clean. Location is great for the price. Approx. a 15 min walk from the Termini and there was also a metro less than 5 mins away. The coliseum...

Momi b&b was just what my daughter and I wanted. Really pleasant and helpful owners who could not have been more helpful if they'd tried!! After we'd told them how much the taxi driver had charged us (typical - we didn't ask the price before we got in - won't do that again!), they arranged for us to be taken...

The B&B was wonderful, bit difficult to find but Alesandrer gave us very good directions. The room was cleaned every day and plenty of choice for breakfast, they also recommended a very good restaraunt. Bit of traffic noise but it is in a city so was only to be expected. Very close to the Termini. We took an open top...

My husband and I just stayed at Momi B and B a couple of weeks ago. Momi was a great refuge to hectic Rome. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom was spotless clean! Alessandro took great care of his guests and there is a great continental breakfast - which is all you need as you are...

This B&B is difficult to find but worth the search. It's not luxury accommodation but it's a great value. We found the surrounding neighborhood interesting and lively; many Asian and Indian shops and restaurants nearby. To the fearful, the neighborhood my appear a bit dodgy, but it's not. The B&B is close to the underground, and within walking distance of...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
