We traveled here in late August and stayed for 4 nights, on arrival to the hotel we had to carry our luggage upstairs as the lift only fits 2-3 people as it is very small. The reception desk is tiny and there is only one girl who works it for a few hours during the day after a certain time...

Regarding of the room: Our room 104 was clean, with conditioner with remote control, washroom with a shower, towels, shampoo, shower gel, soap. In the room and washroom big windows which can be open wide. On the wall small flat screen TV with remote control. However I didn't find English channels - all channels I checked (and there was plenty...

The hotel is actually two floors of an old building. The location is pretty convenient. Very close to the vatican and not far away from many sights. If you don't feel like walking the public transport is very efficient. The room was very clean and montern, however the hotel doesn' t have any other facilities. There is no reception desk,...

We stayed here on our first time visiting Rome and were happy. We did not expect anything fancy, but instead the experience and location and we found it! It was like staying in an apartment in a very old building in a historic part of Rome, just walking distance from a main subway station (Otaviano) and the Vatican City. The...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
