Stayed for a night, it is conveniently close to both the train station and city center, really cheap and pretty safe in a not so safe area. The room was small, the bed was small, the bathroom was small, there was no eye-level window or a balcony, but overall a fair choice for a budget stay.

The room was spacious and clean in a quite building. The receptionist was waiting us as we arrived after midnight. The location is very convenient as it is just 5 minutes walking from Termini central train station and the bus terminal to Rome's airports.

This Hotel is in an ideal location close to Termini Station, buses and Metro. The rooms are very clean and recently decorated with an excellent daily maid service and comfortable beds. Breakfast is basic but sufficient, albeit served a little too early in the morning for us (7am to 9am) and the area, which is located in reception, only seats...

We stayed in Chicago hotel for two nights 4-5th of September. The hotel was 5 min to the Termini train station. This hotel is small, clean, with very helpful and attentive receptionists. One of them accompanied us to our room and help to carry my luggage. Our room was spacy, with good wifi, air conditioner worked properly.Towels were changed every...

It is a good low budget Hotel, two blocks away from the Termini, right at the heart of the City of Rome. The staff was very helpfull and kind, and there was always someone there. We are still really happy we stayed at this hotel and we will go back for sure!

The room is OK, not clean enough however, it is fine if you planned to sleep two to three nights only and need a cheap place with a good location. Safe with a good breakfast. You get what you pay for.

My husband & I spent 1 night in Rome before boarding a cruise. I read good reviews on this hotel and the location, very close to main train station, suited us. We were able to get our own transport from airport to city by train. The hotel was easy walking distance from station. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
