I never write reviews on here but I had such an excellent stay at Hotel Lodi that I want to share my experience! We recently stayed here in the beginning of October 2016. Upon arrival, we were greeted by staff who showed us to our room and then proceeded to go over an entire map of Rome, circling the must...

Doubtless, the best part of the trip was the reception who welcomed us. He was hilarious, helpful, and really thoughtful! The rooms and toilets were pretty clean and all too. Only thing that bothered me was how warm they were. However, I did visit Rome in the summer so its expected!

The rooms here are basic, but satisfactory for a reasonable price. Wi-Fi was also fast, great for uploading all those Colloseum pics! The hotel is situated outside of the main area (which does mean less noise) but a walk to the Colosseum will take around 30 minutes. Additionally, there is a nearby metro station, which is on a good line...

I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel. It is extremely clean, the facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly, going beyond their duties to ensure you have everything you need. Breakfast in the lovely garden each morning was something I looked forward to as it was so peaceful. The hotel is located outside of the central area...

From the moment we walked in we knew we were in safe hands as the staff were immediately warm, welcoming and full of helpful advice. The hostel was also one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in and I couldn't fault it. The garden area makes for a relaxing chill out spot with shaded bits too when the sun...

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, rooms were clean, inviting, tidy. Staff were friendly and very helpful and provided excellent information and support. We would return in future. Location is close to underground subways and bus transport.

This was a last-minute change to my plans and I'm so glad I booked it. The staff went to so much trouble to look after us, with everything from bus routes and maps to lending my son their juggling balls to play with! The hotel itself is small but just right, and our room was lovely, with everything we needed....

Nice and clean room. Extraordinary service from the nice staff. The rooms and the facilities are what you expect or better for the price. The service are first class. They explained everything you need to know as a tourist. From tips on when it's best to visit Coloseum to how to go with public transports.
