My son (17yrs) and I stayed here for 7 days while we were in Rome. The hotel was centrally located near everything we wanted to see. Very safe neighborhood and we could walk almost everywhere. The metro station is just a few blacks away so if we were tired at the end of the day we could take that back... More

Stayed here for 7 days in mid June. i'll write first the good points and second the points that for some travelers might be cons. For me, they weren't deal breakers. Good points: Location - Perfect location to walk to some places. Colosseum is just about 2 blocks going one way and to the other side about a few blocks... More

If you are looking for a great base to explore the Eternal City and all its beauty, this is the place for you. Less than 5 minute, slow walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Victorio Emmanuel Momumnet. If you need to catch a Metro, it is located about two blocks away. The room and the pension were very clean, bright and... More

We chose Rome as the final stop of our three week Italian holiday. Here we will spend three days and nights soaking up the last bits of Italy that our souls can hold. Our choice was to stay near Ancient Rome at Hotel Rosetta. This was a good move on our part! This safe, clean, and secure hotel is located... More

Hotel Rosetta was a great little hotel to stay at if you're ok with a simple, no frills place. We paid just 120 euros a night for a quadruple room. It's only a 5ish minute walk from the Colosseum and Forum. If you don't mind walking, it is possible to walk all over Rome from the hotel...to the Vatican, the... More

With the excellent online reviews, our expectations were high for our 5 day stay in Rome, but they were exceeded. The room was in the new section, all was ready for us, clean and tidy, even though we checked in early. The location is just so wonderful. If you walk up or down Cavour street, you can see the Colesseum.... More

The price was great and the room was extremely clean. It's just a basic, simple room. You won't find anything fancy here. If that's not an issue for you, this is the place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. BEWARE of the cafe across the road. They charged us an ungodly amount for gelato and coffee!

Francesca was a wonderful host with helpful suggestions and maps. The restaurant she recommended was excellent. The room was very comfortable with great beds and a nice bathroom. The location was great and close to all the major ancient sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.

My husband and I traveled Italy last summer for a month and Hotel Rosetta was our favorite hotel. The family-owned hotel provides kind and giving service! The son and daughter were extremely helpful - they helped us with making reservations at museums and directions. The hotel's location is just down the street from the Colosseum! It's really in center of... More

We have stayed for 4 nights (from October 28th to Noember 1st) in a superior room in this hotel. Service was very good and people were really fine. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was new and big, but there was a little bad smelling probably coming from the plumbing. Not a problem at all.... More
