We stayed 3 nights there. Hotel is located very close to main station Termini. Almost everything we wanted to see is walking distance and owner's daughter Mrs. Piera was very friendly and gave us all the information we need, she made us feel like we are their guest not just a customer. Rooms cleaned every day . We had fridge,...

Hotel Katty is a nice and comfortable hotel located at a convenient distance from the Roma termini station. It's located on the 4th and 5th floors of an old palazzo. There is a delightfully ancient and narrow elevator that can be used to make the climb if your legs are tired from traipsing around Rome. The rooms are clean, comfortable...

This is a converted old office building (My guess) so the rooms are different (ours was long and narrow with a double bed (Queen) and a single but with bathrooms at either end (that was different). Very small but comfortable (a desk and chair in each 'compartment'). A threatening note in both bath rooms threatened a E50 fine if you...

Thanks for the general good review. We want to specify that the building was a noble palace (in 2 our rooms you can see a ceiling with fresco) not office building. The penalty for euros 50,00 is because sometimes customers washed into the room all the things (jeans, t-shirt, jersey) as a laundry. No problem for a pair of socks...

We stayed in this hotel from 18-20th June 2016.It was the worst experience ever-it is run by a mother n daughter---they are so miserly n are in the wrong profession-hotel n hospitality business is all about pleasing the customer n keeping them happy---they were counting plastic cups n giving them n you couldn't get more than 2 glassesThey start hounding...

Generally our customers are happy for helpful behaviour of the staff. Every person has 1 plastic glass into the room, as you can find in many hotels; but, of course, it's possible to ask if it's not enough! The hotel gives guarantee to all the customers about check-in from 12.00 am, so we need at least 1 hour to clean...

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and maintained daily. There was a surplus of towels and toiletries. It is a long hike to the hotel it's on the 5th floor but there is a small elevator to accommodate those who need a lift. We were on the 6th floor (a floor above check in) and...

It is a very good and safe neighborhood very close of a metro station, restaurants and multiple snack stores. Is the perfect place for have a nice bed, leave your luggage and meet Rome. The breakfast is very "European", sweet croissant and coffee.

This seemed like a family owned hotel. The lady was nice but spoke very little and smiled seldomly. She was very helpful though. Breakfast tickets are provided to a little cafe just across the street. Our room and bathroom were very clean. This hotel is 8 min walk from Roma Termini so it is very convenient. The only drawback is...

the hotel want to specify that the elevator is working, but sometimes people don't close the internal and external doors. The problem is easily solved calling the hotel by phone on the street and the staff will take care of closing the doors. We don't give discount if there is not a real problem. The payment in cash is an...

The customer arrived at the hotel very late, out of reception time, and the lady waiting for him simply told him to check at the reception next morning if he reserved with especial rate "ONLY CASH" (the hotel put this option on line and always remember to its customer) or not. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
