First of all reviewers must understand that this is a budget hotel, with rooms between £30 -£35 pn and if you want absolutely luxury then go elsewhere and spend £200 a night. I have based my review on what the hotel sells itself to be, a budget B&B. Location - 20 mins easy walk to the Colloseum, and about 10...

A quaint small hotel hidden jut off the main street from the tram / train lines. Cannot complain for the money; clean rooms, pleasant staff, lovely breakfast each morning in the garden. The hotel is well placed with only being 15 mins walking from the Colosseum via the Manziano road straight to it & the Metro is also only 5-10...

Stayed here for a few nights in March and overall had a good experience. The staff were pleasant and breakfast served outside on the patio in the morning sunshine was a treat. Sadly we had a room which had horrible wifi and I had to go out to the hallway every time I wanted to use it but since we...

We booked this hotel thinking this is close to the Rome Termini station however the only thing we disliked about this hotel is the location itself. The main reasons of this were 1) the area looked very secluded and is very far from the central Rome where all major attractions are based 2) the Termini station which is close to...

If you are travelling on a budget, this little hotel in the city centre is great value for such a low price! Our room was big enough, clean, with a wardrobe, private bathroom and toiletries. Free wifi in the room worked fine. Breakfast is included in the price, brought to your room at the time you request; it's simple, but...

Friendly and helpfull staff, spacy clean rooms, breakfast is simple, just about good enough to get you on your way. Hotel is within walking distance of the central train station and several other highlights of Rome like the Colosseum for example. It was ok, but do not expect more than average.

I've just come back from a two night city break, and I can totally recommend the hotel. The main reasons I booked the hotel was the closeness from the main station (after our flight arrived in late the eve I didn't want to mess around trying to find my hotel) hotel Pisa is a short walk straight down from the...

Me and my partner stayed here over the weekend. It was a nice room with air conditioning which was a god send. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning where we chose the time we would like it.

One of the worst "hotels" I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. Although the room was clean, it was really awful. The double bed was just a poorly constructed camp bed pushed together. Sheets & towels were never changed during our visit, our room was below ground and had only a small window opening looking onto the path!! looking...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
