This was my THIRD time staying at this beautiful hotel. Giuseppe, once again was extremely helpful! I stay at Relai Dei Papi because of the close proximity of the metro, a cafe, grocery store and bank. The wifi at the hotel is pretty fast too. Giuseppe remembered me from my last visit and that made my day😊Giuseppe, if you are...

Let me start by saying the staff at the hotel is phenomenal. They were super helpful and worked hard. The hotel on the other hand was not so wonderful. Maybe it's simply as an American I'm used to American hotel standards. Anyhow, we were there for a week visiting Rome for our first time! The hotel room was decorated in...

Fantastic location, great staff, Giuseppe the receptionist was very helpful and very nice. Deluxe rooms are very nicely decorated and equipped; the modern whirlpool bath located next to the bed is a must after long walking day. Highly recommended!

Wonderfully quirky hotel, with much purple! We had adjoining rooms, which although were not big, allowed five of us to be both separate and together. A lot of stairs, but also a wonderful, original cage lift. Staff were friendly and helpful, encouraging us to explore the locality and suggesting places to eat and see. The hotel was in a prime...

Stayed here for 3 nights at a very good price. When we got here the rooms were already available althought we were early. Moreover, during our stay they were doing some renovations, so they even offered us an upgrade to one of their deluxe rooms without any extra costs. Breakfast is really good as well! keep it up!

We were greeted by Giuseppe who showed us to our room and was always helpful throughout our entire stay. He made navigating the city extremely easy with the help of a map and called in dinner reservations and secured cabs. The rooms were very nice and had an option to open your windows for fresh air. The location was great...

Chose this hotel after a recommendation on an online travel service and reviews on TA. It was great! We had a family of 4, including 2 teenage sons. We paid for a quad room but on arrival we were given 2 rooms that adjoined, which meant 2 bathrooms! It was great! Very clean, comfortable, safe, and a great location. The...

Location is prime, Breakfast was good, Nice area, Great restaurant steps away, and Nice rooms. The bed was not comfortable but it is such a personal opinion. The hotel felt more like an apartment in New York than a hotel.

If you are an American used to big chains, this will not dazzle you. But if you want to experience a charming, utterly European style hotel with cozy rooms, a great location (a few blocks to the Vatican) and a nice breakfast, this is for you. Using the elevator is a unique experience in itself, and that's part of the...

I really can't say enough good things about our experience with the Relais dei Papa. Guisseppe and his staff were extremely helpful and helped make our first trip to Rome a memorable one. He gave us detailed directions about navigating the city, made dinner (on New Years Eve) and trip reservations for us, and made sure our stay was comfortable....

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
