Vibrant, quiet and clean hotel which is very easy to find. The staff were very attentive, in particular Giuseppe & Lucky helped us greatly, informing us of places to visit upon arrival. The hotel is located 5/10 mins from the Vatican Museums. The Colesseum and other major attractions were roughly half an hour away and there are also a variety...

I was pretty excited to stay here after looking for a fairly long time at hotels and apartments in Rome. We decided to pay a bit more to stay somewhere nice, and I thought this place looked fairly classy. We arrived in the afternoon and check in was quick and simple. We stayed in a traditional room on the third...

The staff is very helpful and attentive. We had a room by the check in desk - which made it so we could hear people at night. But otherwise, comfortable room and great complete free breakfast. It is seriously THE BEST location in Rome - which is hard to find and you could be walking long distances; however, this hotel...

Very quite and unique hotel. .. It's minutes from the Vatican with a beautiful scenery. .. There are lots of cosy restaurants near by with reasonable prices. There's also many places to shop in the area. .. I would recommend simply because it's close to everything. .

Brilliant hotel. Great staff, great food, great location! My boyfriend and I stayed here for the 3 nights we spent in Rome and it was fab!! The Hotel Relais Dei Papi is perfectly located, walking distance from everything in Rome. Just 5 minutes’ walk from the Vatican, short walk to the Pantheon and a half hour or so walk from...

We stayed here for the second time in 3 years. This time we were here with our 2 daughters (19 and 14 years old). We got 2 connecting rooms with 2 bathrooms. The rooms were clean and had everything you need for a 3 nights stay. At the end you are only a few hours in your room to refresh...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the 3 nights we spent in Rome and it was awesome. The staff was totally accommodating and bent over backwards to ensure we had a great stay. The concierge spent a lot of time with us walking us through a map of places to see (and places to avoid) during our trip and...

This hotel is in a wonderful old building on a very charming side street which is very close to great restaurants and shopping. The building still has a very old cage style elevator that still works which we thought was awesome. We walked to Vatican, Pantheon, Colosseum, etc. The neighborhood is so nice and we spent hours just walking and...

Ok I want to be fair but I have to tell the truth about my experience. I booked Relais dei Papi via European Destination Tours and paid to have an upgrade on my room from standard to deluxe. When I arrived I was greeted immediately by the friendly front desk clerk, he helped us to our room which was completly...

Dear guest, we are very sorry about the problems regarding your reservation, but we feel the need to clear some points. We do have 3 categories of rooms, deluxe, superior and standard. The standard rooms are subdivided in classic and modern. The travel agency you booked through (European Destinations) has only allotments for the standard classic rooms, therefore it is...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
