We chose this B&B because it was inexpensive and was in a great location within easy reach of the centre of Rome and near to many good restaurants. We did not realise until we arrived and were met by the friendly manager who spoke very good English that it was actually a room within an apartment, but all rooms have... More

The reason that we booked this B&B was it's unbeatable location. It is nestled right in the heart of Trastevere, the most lively and exciting portion of Rome. There are many bars and excellent restaurants in this neighborhood, and it is a very scenic and short walk to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, The Vatican, and more. Even with such... More

Not quite what we expected. Reviews gave it high score, someone lied big time. A very rowdy place at all times of night. Our bathroom was across a corridor for our use, but not good when you need to go in middle of night. The bathroom was tiny, just as well I'm little!!! Nowhere to put fresh milk or keep... More

We were very surprised reading your review, not for the judgment that ,in fact, does not seems too bad, but because YOU'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT OUR B & B !! I think you have confused the name !!! We are NOT near tram or bus or a train station, we do not have bathrooms in the corridor and we do... More

We loved this place. It felt like a cozy little apartment in a perfect spot in Rome, close to the Ponte Sisto so we could easily walk to the centre. There's a small kitchen supplied with tea, fruit etc and espresso makers in the rooms. I stayed there with my teenage son and two nephews in two rooms. Great pizza... More

I would say that our stay at this B&B was between average and good. The best feature of the place is its location - right in the middle of Trastevere neighbourhood. It is basically an apartment transformed into three en-suite rooms with kitchen to share. It's very clean and comfortable but unfortunately very noisy - you can hear every sound... More

The B&B is at the north end of Trastevere near the Ponte Sisto. Walking from there to all the major points of interest is quite easy. You are given keys to the building and to your room – so you’re free to come and go as you please – on your schedule. Breakfast is “self-service,” combining cereals and fresh fruit... More

Our room was on ground floor, just after the front door of the building; it consisted of a bedroom, a small living room with a table and a minibar, a bathroom and a tiny terrace. Food and drink were provided for breakfast. The floor wasn't very clean and the whole place had a light mold smell. However, location was great,... More

Comfortable clean b&b in vibrant trastevere area within walking distance to main attractions and restaurants. Very accommodating helpful owner. Quiet location but pizzeria opposite handy after a days sightseeing. Would be happy to return

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
