We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The location is excellent. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was good. The room was quiet. We got the 35 sq. meter room, which had a double bed and a single bed and another single pull out bed. This room was expensive. The room was partially partitioned in the middle by a large armoire and didn't feel as big as I expected. The bathroom was in 3 sections: toilet, sink and shower/tub. The sink area was open to the whole room. The toilet area could be isolated from sink area only by a sliding frosted glass door. The shower area was open to the sink area - no way to isolate it!!!! This arrangement is apparently not a problem for just our family, because when we asked the bellhop about it, he went off and produced a folding floor screen, which we placed across the opening from the sink area to the room. Not ideal but workable. He made a comment that they are modifying the rooms (slowly?) to address this egregious design error.

Great Hotel well placed to visit Pantheon, Trevi Fountain , Colosseum, Piazza Navona . Stayed here for three nights , first night was not the best start , woken up to lots of noise coming from the street our room was 105 situated above reception and opposite bar which was across the road , it must have lasted over three hours on and off , eventually got to sleep gone three .We we’re concerned that this might happen again , and requested a room change . We got lucky a room had just become available and we moved to level four at rear of Hotel . Receptionist Andrea was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue and made it stress free by getting Denis to help move our stuff , big thank you to you both .

Bedrooms were very comfy , bed and pillows memory foam after a long day walking a blessing just to crash out on, walk in shower , plenty of storage , room was decorated in a modern style and spotlessly clean , as were everywhere in the hotel .

Enjoyed the breakfast , great variation of cold buffet items , to a small selection of cooked . plenty of fruit and pastries

What made this hotel complete for us was the staff attentive nothing was to much trouble , and always had a way of making you feel valued.

Icing on the cake was the roof top bar , great way to chill after busy day .

Stayed here in 2018, and stayed here again because I love the location! Walking distance to piazza Navona, the pantheon, campo de fiori and around 15 mins walk to trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. The room is nice and clean, everything in working order. The toiletries provided are acqua di Parma so you smell fresh and clean every time you shower.

I love the breakfast selection! More than enough to get you through the whole morning of sightseeing. They even have a bread toaster oven which helps especially when it’s cold and you want a nice piece to toast. The rooftop bar has changed since 2018, the bartender said they’ve been modernising the place since then.

Modern hotel in a superb location, but not crazy busy and feels safe. Love it! Will go back again next time I’m in Rome.

This was my third trip to Rome, and unfortunately, this stay was a major letdown. We booked an Executive Room, but it was far from what was advertised online. The photos are incredibly misleading—the room was tiny, with barely enough space for two people to move around simultaneously. There was no place for luggage, no vanity area, and no mirror near an outlet unless you wanted to risk electrocution by using the narrow bathroom sink ledge. The bathroom itself was so small it barely accommodated one person, making it impossible to get ready comfortably.

For seven days, we lived out of suitcases scattered across the floor due to the lack of space.

Two months before our stay, the VIP concierge emailed us asking for special requests. We asked for a higher-floor room with a window that opened because one of us has breathing issues. Despite this, we were assigned a low-floor room where the open window brought in cigarette smoke from the street. To make matters worse, there was constant hammering and drilling from construction work at an apartment directly across from our window starting at 7:30 AM and continuing past dark. While we understand the hotel can’t control outside factors, they completely ignored our requests and didn’t even acknowledge them at check-in. If they had simply informed us in advance that they couldn’t meet our requests, we would have canceled and booked elsewhere. Instead, we paid €2,300 for a full-price, non-prepay reservation, only to face a disappointing stay.

Other issues:
• Breakfast was a basic American buffet with no option to custom order eggs or omelets.
• We constantly had to request replenishment of in-room coffee, milk, and toilet paper.
• By the sixth day, the heating and A/C stopped working.
• The hairdryer was broken.
• The shower doors leaked water all over the floor after every use, and the cheap caulk job couldn’t hide the extensive water damage.

These are not the standards of a 4-star hotel. Photos below provide perspective.

As compensation for all this, the hotel offered us a free dinner. We had a shared club sandwich and fries on our last night. We were called on the phone hours before dinner informing us no drinks alcohol or otherwise will be included.

The positives: The location is central, and the staff were friendly and responsive.

Overall, this hotel failed to deliver on basic expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

After trying several different hotels the last few years, I finally found a perfect one for me. It's in a classic building, nicely renovated inside with sleek comfortable rooms where everything works and, unlike some modern hotels, the lights are easy to turn on and off. Upgraded to "open suite" which means the rooms are a bit larger, with a partial divider in the middle of the room with a TV above a desk that partially separates the bed area from the sofa area. One-sink bathroom small but adequate in size for one person at a time, with separate stall for toilet, and combo bath/shower. Overall impression: clean, sleek, quiet. My room opened to courtyard--no great view, just across 30 meters or so to next building. Other rooms open to the street, which isn't busy. Location is ideal, a block or two off the se corner of the Piazza of same name. Close to many things you want in Rome, like restaurants, sights, etc. While the rooms don't have special views, the rooftop bar does. Iconic 360 view of Rome rooftops and church steeples. Hard to beat that. And staff is welcoming and professional. Buffet breakfast is plentiful. Fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs and bacon, pastries, cereals including muesli, coffee to order, and more. I give it five stars because it excels in its boutique category. Mind you, it doesn't pretend to be the Ritz but you certainly get your money's worth, and more.

From what I could tell in my research of Rome, there were not a ton of updated/trendy hotels that were still in historic/good location and were still high-quality (not cheap) without being G-rough price range. Palazzo Navona perfectly fits that description.

The lobby is well-decorated but small and thus not much reason to hang out there.

The room (probably my only reason for not 5 stars) was fine. We had a double/twin. It was nice and definitely not bad, but just really nothing special, especially in comparison to the lobby, rooftop, and price.

The hotel is maybe worth it just for the rooftop. They have a full bar and restaurant, though we went up there before they opened and just brought out own bottle of wine. Amazing views as you approach sunset. There actually aren't a ton of lights in the city so it's less beautiful once it's dark.

Location is perfect, right off Plaza Navona, a block or two from the Pantheon, and within walking distance of pretty much everything else.

Staff (I can't remember our bellhop's name but he was great) was great and very accomodating. It was our anniversary and they left us a bottle of sparkling wine. They also helped us with dinner reservations ahead of time.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location is ideal, close to all the main attractions in Rome.

The décor was stylish, the room décor was only ok in my opinion, but the rooftop terrace was my absolute favourite. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful with the right service mindset. I especially liked how the breakfast was arranged during this covid pandemic: the waitress would give all the things you wanted from the buffet so not everybody would touch the tongs or spoons.

Few little things just raise this hotel to another level: how they take your luggage up to your room, how you get a lovely snack assortment with your drink at the bar, Aqua di Parma products in the bathroom. I just happened to stay at another hotel in Madrid which was supposed to have the same rating and I found that I was missing there a lot of things that I had in Palazzo Navona Hotel. If I have to say something negative, it would be that you could hear the noise from the streets through the windows but that is probably the same in all over since us Finns are used to triple windows back home.

Our 3rd stay at this hotel and it keeps getting better. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by friendly and professional staff all wanting to help make your stay as perfect as possible. Our room was on the 3rd floor and absolutely stunning it was perfectly cleaned very day with fresh towels and bedding..
The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was amazing with excellent staff serving fantastic cocktails and snacks as well as a excellent food menu. Our breakfast was really good which sets you up for the many hours of walking and sightseeing.. The hotel is only a short distance from lots of the most iconic places to visit in Rome. With lots of great bars and restaurants on your doorstep, I recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Rome.. we’ll certainly be back to this outstanding Hotel.

Palazzo Navona is wonderful. The location is ideal for walking to most sites in the central part of the city, and the bus stops are only a few steps away. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The breakfast was robust and including a broad array of options. The downstairs bar is quite elegant, but the real star of the show is the rooftop bar. Wow! from one side there is a clear of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, and on the other is a superb view of the dome of the Pantheon rising from the city.

We booked the Open Suite Terrace and this will be now be our new go to hotel. The rooms are furnished well, the bed and sofa bed were comfortable, the terrace faces opposite the street so no view but great sun and relaxing to have a drink day/night, the a/c and overall room are quiet, the curtains are blackout. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially, the guys in the rooftop bar they are amazing at service they alone had us talking about going back as did the view. The location is absolutely perfect for food, boutique shops and sights like Pantheon,Piazza Navona etc all of which are within a 2-5 minute walk. I wish they had a loyalty program is how good this place is worth returning too and we will be back later this year in September.
