My daughter and I stayed at the Domus Libera in Feb for her 16th birthday celebration. It was the most wonderful experience. I can't like this hotel enough. Luana, Speronza, Miriana, and Rowena. As soon as we walked through the door for the first time, we were greeted with such kindness. Luana was the sweetest most wonderful person. She checked us in and gave us a little Roman orientation. We had cappuccino and cookies which was my daughter's favorite. They even had a special gift for my daughter upon arrival. Luana went out of her way to get us entrance to the papal audience. This was a dream come true. Everyone that worked at this hotel treated you like family. They do everything to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. They had many wonderful restaurant recommendations. Luana knew we had to get up early each morning and we were going to miss breakfast. She was able to leave breakfast in our rooms at night so we could eat it in the morning. They made us feel really special. The rooms were so spacious, modern and felt like new. I love that the hotel is in the alley- this made for a very quiet night sleep. Also, its central location is the most perfect part. So close to everything. We utilized the bus and it made everything so easy. One afternoon while returning home from one of our adventures, I was able to sit in the front room with the girls and just have a great conversation. You ladies are the best. We love you all and thank you so much for treating us like family. My wish is to be back very soon. May God bless all of you and I hope you're all safe from this horrendous virus. xoxoxoxo Melissa and Amelia (your American friends)

Dear Melissa and Amelia, we can honestly say that it's guests like you that make us happy about choosing this field of work. Reading your kind words is heartwarming and gives us validation and certainty of a job well done. We like taking our daily tasks to the next level and offer a different kind of hospitality that brings to mind the vacations spent with the grandparents, the comfort and warmth of a home away from home and the precious aid of a trustworthy figure, always there to help and pamper. Thank you on behalf of the whole Domus Libera Family for your friendship and for your kindness. We look forward to having you home again. Warmest wishes and a big hug from all of us.

I visited in January with my daughter for her birthday, and was slightly apprehensive about the fact that there was no-one on reception between 7pm and 7am when we were due to arrive. However, they had sent details of a code to enter the building and arranged for a driver to collect us from the airport. I needn't have worried. Everything worked perfectly, the driver was there to meet us, even though we had been delayed, and we were in our room just minutes after arriving at the hotel. Everything was just perfect! The room was lovely and had everything we needed - quality toiletries, a coffee machine, tea bags, a safe, and free snacks. Speranza and Lorenzo were super helpful and had even ensured there were gluten-free options for my daughter. The lovely and unassuming couple who cooked and cleaned made a gluten-free birthday cake for my daughter's birthday and Lorenzo even delivered breakfast to our room on the day. They had even decorated it with a banner and balloons! We had planned to also visit Pisa, and Speranza looked up train times for us (though in the end we didn't go - she told us it wasn't worth it, though we didn't take much persuading!), instead recommending where else to visit in Rome. Lorenzo found restaurants serving gluten free pizza and pasta so my daughter didn't miss out on the delicious food on offer. I totally could not fault anything and have already recommended to three more families. If I ever go back, I will certainly stay there. Loved the hotel, loved Rome!

Says it all really! A fantastic hotel located down a side street in the centre of Rome. The people who run this place have got things running like clockwork. From the moment of booking where they organised our pick up at the airport (€60 each way transfer, 45 mins) To advice on restaurants (and booking because it’s busy on a Saturday night!) to advice on the best ice cream parlours, to advice on good little bars...... it was always on hand! The guy on reception was brilliant! Always helpful and ready to make a coffee. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Looking forward to visiting again

We visited here in January 2020 for 5 nights. I found the hotel on trip advisor and was surprised how cheap the hotel was for a central location, bed & breakfast with brilliant reviews and we were not disappointed with our stay! Reception is open from 7am to 7pm. We landed late in the evening so the hotel contacted me in advance with instructions on how to get into the hotel (they give you a code for the front door and your room) which was really easy. They also can arrange a private transfer from the airport to the front door (€50 each way for 2 people). Our driver Gery was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a small boutique venue with 6 rooms. Our room was so lovely, very simple decor with a lovely big bathroom. Included in the room: Continental breakfast served 8am - 10am and can be brought to your room for free. Tea & coffee, Fridge & snacks (all free), Towels (decent size bath sheets as well), Shampoo, conditioner, bath foam and body lotion was also provided. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, a safe and a TV. Location was perfect, very central and only approximately 5 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain and Pantheon and about 10-15 minutes to the colosseum. The best part about the hotel was Lorenzo and Speranza from reception, they were both so lovely and willing to help which made all the difference. We stayed for my birthday and they decorated our room with balloons and even brought breakfast up to the room with a birthday cake. Absolutely amazing service and such a lovely touch! Great location, wonderful service and a lovely hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone!
