We travelled here during July 2020. As Rome is starting to get back to normality this hotel was a breathe of fresh air and so welcoming and beautiful. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Late check out offered also. We would 100% recommended to anyone.... and we can be fussy

We loved all the staff at crosti hotel, so friendly and helpful. The lady serving breakfast every morning was so polite and she couldn’t do enough for you. We loved the huge breakfast pastries too!! Rooms were spotless and comfortable and the location was perfect for us fitting all the main sight seeing in in 3 days. We walked everywhere and didn’t use public transport other than a couple of taxis to dine out in an evening. We had a really late night flight returning home and the lovely manager allowed us to keep our room for the day after we should have checked out, to get showered after another day of exploring Rome. This was massively appreciated. Thank you crosti hotel - we will be back :)

Lovely budget hotel, family owned, basic but scrupulously clean very close to the main station and within easy reach of the main Roman attractions. Great if you have a heavy itinerary and just want to crash out. If not then the family who own the hotel have a restaurant just up the road which is great for whiling away an evening with discounted food, and a chance to meet them all. The premises deliver exactly what it says on the box, nothing more, nothing less.

We stayed for four nights and once you get your bearings it is easy to use the underground system which is just a short walk away. It is not in the heart of the city but is in an ok area. The rooms are comfortable and the mini bar is not a rip off - a bottle of water was only 1.5 euros. The breakfast was small and not really to my taste but was included in the cost. Be warned about the city tax as this does add a big chunk to the bill at the end.

This hotel was really lovely, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was huge (although the pillows were a bit hard) and the bathroom was big and clean. The whole room was very clean and they changed the bed every day. The hairdryer was brilliant too! And there is a safe in the bedroom to store your valuables. It is only a 20 min or so walk to the Colosseum and main street but you can always get a taxi if you need to which only takes around 5 mins and should cost no more than 7 euro. There are loads of restaurants to choose from and for 2 mains and 2 drinks it was only around 36 euro in most places and the food is glorious. In saying that, the only thing that let this hotel down was the breakfast. Not a lot of choice and not really worth the £8. We will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we go to Rome.
