Had a great 2 night stay at the Crosti for a weekend away in Rome. The room was very modern and clean, the bed was comfortable and ridiculously big. The hotel is located in a good spot- about a 5-10 minute walk away from Termini...More
The hotel was perfect, very close to Termini station, and metro stop.Very clean, with breakfast included, silent at night.tv with all language channels, new bathroom. Lots of restaurants near, and even one big supermarket.

The Crosti Hotel is a great place to stay in room. It's close to the train station and many cafes. The rooms were very modern with good space. The bathroom was large and well appointed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was...More
Loved the hospitality .. but when you book make sure you know if your staying in Apartments several blocks away or hotel.
Wasn’t an issue staying in apartment but we were surprised when we arrived... “oh your not staying here”. Etc
When I booked the hotel, I wasn't told that I will be lodged in an apartment building so i was a little disappointed, because when I travel I like to stay at a "hotel ".

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Civitavecchia is about 80 kms (45 mi) from Roma Termini area. The train system is fantastic and very reasonable. You get to see a lot of the country side on the way into Rome. The walk from Termini train station is only about 10-15 min walk. Or if you don't wish to walk it is a 10 euro taxi ride. I know the hotel will arrange a shuttle from the airport but not aware about one from the cruise port.
There is not a free shuttle to or from the airport, or cruise terminal. The hotel arranged for a driver/car to meet us at the Airport and take us to the hotel. It was $60eu, for two people and luggage each way. It's a great... More
