Nice and clean place, comfortable decorated and good location for train travelers 1520 minutes walk to coliseum and historic rome about an hour to Vatican, but it is near a subway station, so you can get to de Vatican in half hour. Breakfast is okay. Private bathroom.

The rooms were nice for the money and the location was very convenient. Overall a good facility experience. Customer service could be improved. The staff was very friendly but they are not on-site and are difficult to reach. We arranged to meet the staff once we left the airport and they were not at the B and B until 30...

This was a perfect location in rome, especially for walking and transport. Easy walk with luggage from termini. Lots if shops and restaurants near by. Walkable to all main attractions. The room was nicely decorated with a communal kitchen with breakfast provided. Can't fault anything especially for the price.

The location is accessible as it is near the termini station. It is also near historical landmarks such as the colosseum, basilica de sancta maria maggiore and a few walks to the trevi fontana. The room is also nice and clean. There is also unlimited pastries for breakfast. The caretaker is also nice and friendly. I will definitely stay again...

The place is located at a walking distance from the Roma termini, which makes it really accessible and easy to be found. The room is clean and spacious, with private toilet in the room, which makes it a plus point. As we stayed in Rome during the winter season, it is essential for us to have heater in the room....

The hoyel is located newr Roma Termini. It gives you access to everything because the subway and the bus terminal are 3 blocks away. However Termini is a not so beautiful area at Rome. This is not your traditional European hotel, but rather, a three-bedroom apartment that acts as a sort of B & B. When you arrive, there is no reception and nobody there to let you in the building, and at first, we didn't see outdoor signage indicating a hotel, thinking we had arrived at the wrong address. On further inspection, we...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“The heater was working perfectly so we use everyday, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. Room was clean and spacious. The mini fridge was very useful. Spacious kitchen with all necessary to start the morning (coffee, milk, tea, cakes, bread, yoghurt, juice, etc) . We can suggest to have a iron with and iron board.”
