Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

This was actually the most charming and at the same time worst hotel of 8 hotels during a trip through Europe. The location is amazing and the room itself is very nice, big bed, comfortable space, so much attention to the details in design... but I'm afraid that's not enough.

Sorry, didn't have email adress either (I just checked my old resevation confirmation). Maybe you could send them SMS? We informed about our arrival time through booking site where we made our reservation - it worked o.k. When we arrived in Rome we got sms where they informed where to find reception (less than 100 meters from the actual gueshouse premises).
