We booked a non refundable room for Mar 17 2020. This hotel informed me on Mar 10 that we needed to cancel our trip to Italy because the country was shutdown and they weren't hesitant to refund our money despite it being a non refundable room. If we ever go back to Italy, we will stay in this hotel. Recommended!

Good location to Termini railway station and city centre. Compared to the other 2 hotels we stayed at the room was really spacious and clean. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it looked. The staff is helpful. I liked the lovely finishing touches of ribbons around the towels. The bed was comfy.

Hotel strange contemporary decor. Didn’t care for
the vibe. Breakfast was $18 pp. The room was clean but had a extremely strong room deodorizer smell. Good location 10 minute walk from the train station. Would not stay here again much better options with free breakfast.

We were very well hosted. The hotel was pretty clean and quite central. The owners of the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. If we come to Rome again, we will stay here again. I suggested all my friends to stay here.

I am due to write a review so here it is, I travelled here with my mother and so I had been searching for hotels that is close to Roma termini as we were doing trips around Italy. The reason why I am giving this a 5 star rating, the service was super friendly, the location is right next to Roma termini station, the hotel is walking distance to all the major attractions, we requested a room that is quieter and we got what we asked for.
The room was clean and tidy, they provided towels, soaps and there is a hair dryer too.

Room comes with air con and mini fridge.
There is a lift access but you can only fit 2 people at a time.
On the ground floor I believe there is a wheelchair ramp to get you to the lift so I would say wheelchair accessible. But do double check with them when you book or make a reservation.

I wished we could have stayed here longer after our trips around Italy and when we arrived back in Rome.

I highly recommend this place if you are not looking for fancy hotels but something that is decent and you can sleep in the evenings as you will be out most of the days because you are so close to all the restaurants.
I've attached photos for you to see hope this helps with your search.
Please click if you find this useful.

Me and my wife visited Rome on late October of 2017 and stayed at Leone for 3 nights. The main advantage of this hotel is its location, which is around 150 meters from the Termini station. All the local amenities were just around. Apart from that , the hotel was decent and even though its on the first floor , it has a lift. Te rooms were decent and cleaned each day. The rooms also comes with Air conditioner, in case you need to beat the Roman heat.

Our room wasn't ready upon our arrival, (good start). So we went for a walk and came back an hour later...still not ready. So we waited in reception another 10 minutes. After an early start and tiring journey from Turin we just wanted to lay down in comfort. The shower was not clean and only dribbled out, so after attempting a shower each we gathered our things and started to search for another hotel. Would not recommend staying here unless you literally just want a bed and won't be spending any time in your hotel room.

Pompeo and his family went above and beyond and we had a great time in Rome and especially at the leone hotel. They left us surprises each day at the room, have great WiFi and were always ready to help with great patience. Highly recommended!

Hotel Leone is a great budget option for travelers who need to stay in Rome for one or two days, and then take a train to the next town over. Seriously, even with heavy suitcases, it's perfectly walkable from the station. In addition, it is surrounded by shops and restaurants that offer plenty of selection!

So the location of the hotel is definitely its most attractive feature.

However, the room we stayed in had clearly been smoked in when it was supposed to be non-smoking. There was even a sign on the door.

In addition, reception is not 24 hours and that is normally not a problem. However, this means there is not a person there early morning in case you need something. In our case, it was to tell off some jerk who decided to ring the doorbell of reception for five minutes straight before 7am.

That's another thing- the doorbell of the hotel can be heard throughout the rooms in the hotel because it's in its own section on a floor in a large building.

Overall, it wasn't a bad stay but we couldn't stay for more than a few nights.

Salve. Sul lato del portone di accesso al palazzo c'è una piccola targhetta che indica l'hotel. All'interno dello stesso palazzo ci sono più strutture ricettive.
