We had the best stay at Navona Central Suites. I will strongly recommend it for anyone else. Walking distance to basically everything you'd want to see in Rome. Great and cosy breakfast in bed every morning included.
We stayed at Navona Central Suites for 4 nights in Feb, and loved it! The location is absolutely brilliant for exploring Rome, and the manager is lovely. We booked the taxi service offered by the hotel, to collect us from the airport, after reading that...More

From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.

yes there are lots of cafes nearby. It's possible to get very good pastries and coffee very cheaply except on weekends when everything seems to be closed. The breakfast provided by Navona is very generous and worth getting on the weekend, otherwise you will have quite a walk unless you stock up ahead of time.
This is a wonderful place to stay and the women who run it are very generous and helpful.
