During my stay I found Daphne Veneto to be very charming and worth every Euro I spent. I found Rome to be a very walkable city and thankfully the hotel was centrally located (Piazza Barberini) to most sights within the city. This was my first trip to Italy and after a long flight I was looking forward to getting to...

We selected this based on other trip advisor comments – we were not disappointed. It is a small hotel, ideally situated a stone throw from the Piazza Barberini at the start of the Via Veneto – a short walk to both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain or indeed most of the old city sights. The English speaking staff...

This place got unbeilable reviews and I was expecting something like the Marinella in Venice. The place was above average for around the price. The staff are incredibly helpful. They've obviously read all the modern marketing/customer service related texts. One thing to note is don't bother taking their organised vehicle, it's a dodgey transit van (unless there's a big group...

Just returned from staying in rooms 401 and 402. Had a lovely time, the location is 1 minute from Piazza Barberini so very central. Rooms were comfortable and we (2 adults and 2 kids) all slept well up to the point that breakfast started as our rooms were off the breakfast room and the noise woke us up. Free to...

The Daphne Inn is a small hotel, excellently managed with a very personable and accommodating staff. It is a restful place to stay in that it is surrounded by a monastry and office buildings, so nights are quiet. We were awaken each morning with a covey of doves who gathered on the tile roof by our window. The breakfast was...

DH and I stayed at Daphne for 6 nts starting Oct 27th. Upon arrival the staff was so extremely helpful and continued to be so for the entirity of our stay. As soon as we got in, Vicky sat down with us and showed us a map with some ideas for an orientation walk. She also went over how the...

My sister and I stayed at the Daphne for 3 nights. We were very impressed by the size of the room, the elegance, and the helpful staff, particularly Mimi and Carl. They recommended restaurants that were also top-notch. The area was very quiet, even though we were a stones-throw away from the Piazza Barberini! Having the use of the computer...

The Daphne Veneto is a great find. Centrally located, immaculate, cool air-conditioning, reasonably priced, and best of all, personalized and knowledge service and advice by the concierges. Highly recommended! JA, NYC

My partner and I stayed at the Daphne in May of this year. I intended to write this review earlier, but .....life happens. Our visit was terrific. We expected a small room in a comfortable environment with great service. The staff at the Daphne surpassed our expectations, and the room was much larger than we expected. We opted-in for the...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
