We originally booked this hotel due to their shuttle service. I paid €30 to be collected from the airport and my friend €15 from the port. My flight was late arriving and collecting the baggage but I was relieved to see my shuttle was still there and were very friendly. When arriving at the hotel I was greeted by Laura, who is lovely and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. I myself work in an international hotel chain so to see that the hotel lived up to my expectations of cleanliness was wonderful. The room decoration was charming and I loved the decoration of the hallway and breakfast room. All the staff we spoke to were charming and friendly despite the language barrier and really did they’re best to communicate. The WiFi was excellent! If I returned to Ancona I would most definitely stay here, as others have said it’s not in a pretty tourist area but I didn’t feel unsafe. On our first night the gentleman on reception recommended a small pizzaria which was delicious so there are amenities local. The only thing I would say is that there was a small leak from the shower in room 26 but that had no affect on the stay. It’s 20 minute walk to the city centre, 15 minutes to the train station. Thank you for a lovely stay

It is a very nice and charming hotel. My room was very clean and tidy, but it was a little bit dark in the bathroom. The staff was very nice too. Unfortunately the area near hotel is a bit scary and unfriendly. There are many drunk people close to the hotel who you see every day, especially in the evening.

Charming hotel outside downtown, near the bus station and not far from the train station. Handy to get any bus. Nice decoration, great breakfast with buffet and warm croissants!. Gentle staff. Only thing missing is a fridge in the room.

I made the reservation for this hotel during a stop on the tollway. I did a Google search. I called the hotel 3 to 4 times to get directions and Laura was extremely courteous. When we arrived near the hotel my wife and I were thinking about finding another place because we were not impressed with the area. I called the hotel, which we could not find, and I was told to wait and they would come in the car and guide me to the hotel which was not very far. The area at night does not look great. Once we entered the hotel my wife and I changed our impression. This is a charming, clean, affordable, with a French touch small hotel. A good breakfast, a clean room, the entire hotel was very very clean., The mother, Simonetta, and the daughter, Laura, owners of the hotel were very very kind and personable. We made great friends and definitely we will return. Next to the hotel there is a great fruit and vegetable market.
