Ilaria runs a wonderful B and B in the heart of Bologna. Clean, massive rooms, and a terrific host. Breakfast was great. The home is full of history. There is no better place to stay in Bologna! Grazie Ilaria!

We stayed for 3 nights the end of March. We booked the Guido room (which looks much better on the internet). It was spacious but cold and dreary. The shower was too small, my husband couldn't move in it and he's not a big guy. The water turned cold after one shower and didn't get hot after waiting more than...

Open the giant wooden doors off the street and you enter into a quiet courtyard. Across the courtyard is the entrance to Antica Casa Zucchini. We stayed there 6 nights while I took private Italian lessons. Our room was huge with beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. With only three guest rooms, even when fully booked it feels very private. Most...

We stayed in July 2015 for 2 nights and booked out all three rooms. Do not hesitate to stay here! It is a true Italian experience. The rooms have original frescoes, the furniture is all antique but the bathrooms have the mod cons. The location is fantastic and gets you to all the key sites plus the amazing shopping within...

This accommodation gives you the best of everything. It is a Great location near the city center, nice air conditioned very large rooms, and a very reasonable price. Breakfast is very adequate. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Absolutely loved our stay !!! 100% going to return. 3 bedroom flat with all en suite. Most necessary amenities were made available. Fabulous location. Walking distance to all local places of interest. Also near to many bakeries, grocery, wine stores, taxi, cafe and restaurants. Gem of a setting. Ancient palazzo made into a contemporary flat. There is kitchen - very...

I stayed here with two friends while taking a course in Bologna- there are only 3 rooms so we had this lovely palazzo to ourselves. Each room is spacious with a separate dressing room and modern bath, decorated with painted ceilings. Ilaria is a wonderful hostess, charming and helpful. The location can't be beat- convenient to restsurants, shops and tourist...

Exellent , elegant , peaceful place to stay for those who love old Italian charm. Real find! Perfect location, just couple of minutes from spectacular church of Santo Stefano, our favourite in Bologna.

My husband and I first stayed here in September 2011. We love it so much we are going back this September bringing my sister and cousin. The location is perfect. The frescos are gorgeous. Ilaria is the perfect hostess, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Antica Casa Zucchini to everyone.

Ilaria was a wonderful hostess (its hard to imagine where negative reviews of her could've come from). She was kind and helpful with my plans in Bologna, had breakfast early when I left and called the cab for me - no complaints. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent. I was in the "Cesare" room and it was HUGE (named after an...
