This place is ideally situated in old Bologna. Had a family suite which we took advantage of (however, only allowed 4 per room, and we had 5, so we had to get a second room...which always adds up). Staff was super kind and helpful. Delicious spread for breakfast. View from rooftop can't be beat, but there's no real bar service...

The hotel is lovely: recently renovated, well-designed and very clean. The staff were fantastic – we felt genuinely appreciated as guests. In particular, Irene was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect: close to the old town centre and easy to walk everywhere, but out of the busy tourist area. Lots of good...

From the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out, everything was fantastic at Hotel Touring. The staff at the front desk are extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. From making suggestions for restaurants, to making reservations, to providing information about the hotel, everything was done perfectly and in a timely manner. A special mention to Irene who made...

A very friendly family run hotel situated in a quiet corner of Bologna's historic centre. With stunning views over the city towards the two towers from the 5th floor Terraza Mattuiani. Arrived to a warm welcome and shown to a second floor room "London". Well appointed and functional. Very comfortable bed. No view from this floor but within a ten...

I have just returned from a six day holiday in Bologna. I was doing a language course while I was there and the Hotel Touring was very convenient for the school and also for the city centre. Also, a nice quiet location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Irene. The room was very clean with a very comfy...

We had 2 rooms for 3 of us. Both rooms were very nice and always clean. There was a safe and a small fridge in each room. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We especially loved the roof top and the views it offered of Bologna. We took our market buys to the roof and enjoyed a leisurely lunch...

A little gem tucked into a quiet side street in the heart of old town Bologna. As charming as the town itself, this family run hotel offers a taste of Bologna you will not find in the soulless chains typical for business travel. My room was comfy with everything I needed, included a marble bathroom, juliet balcony and decorative painted...

The hotel is just several blocks away from the Piazza Maggorie, and other great sight seeing places in Bologna. It was comfortable, well kept, and the staff was pleasant, and knew us by the end of our 4 night stay. The roof top terrace has amazing views, and we had fantastic time drinking wine and eating lunch there. (We brought...

We read about Hotel Touring's great view of the city from the rooftop terrace, and it was even better than we imagined! The bartender made a perfect negroni, and gave us a small tray of delicious treats. Fantastic! Highly recommended!

Hotel was amazing and clean! We were in Room 100, a very large room with a queen size bed and a twin.
