We stayed for one night before returning to Bologna. We found the reception staff polite but distant and disinterested. The reception area is bright and clean. Although directly outside the hotel is scruffyand whatever you do don't walk through the arch opposite to get to the hotel. It smells of urine and is most unsavoury. Obviously not the fault of...

Came here with a cycling tour group and stayed two nights. The lobby is beautiful, the staff is friendly. The rooms were decent size and beds weren't terrible. Clean and up to date. Unfortunately, something must be wrong with their pipes. Our room, especially the bathroom, and the hallways outside our room all had the sickening stench of sewer gas,...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. When we first entered our room, we noticed a sewagy smell that only got stronger. We made it through the night, and talked to the front desk the next day. They said they would have someone look at it while we were out for the day. After we came back, the...

Have been visiting this place since the 1970's when it was old fashioned and comfortable with big rooms furnished in 19th century style. Then it became a business hotel with smaller rooms, modern dark furniture, and prices to match, Now it is part of the Accor chain. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is good, and the prices realistic, at...

We are not sure how this hotel ever got a 4 star rating. The bed was rock hard, the pillow a lump of rubber, it was the most uncomfortable night. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every sound from the room next door, the people on the street, the cars outside and the noise visitors made along...

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is good, close to the station. Free wifi is very poor. You can browse but cannot watch videos without buffering. No fan in rooms, makes it quite inconvenient if ACs are kept off till April. Was it worth spending Euro 225/ night ---- VERY DOUBTFUL.

The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing on the ground floor, but my room was a bit dated and smaller than I expected for a 4* hotel. I am slightly curious why it is a 4*, but that said, the room was very clean, hotel staff were really nice, and I had a pleasant breakfast. The bathroom was great, was probably...

Great location for this hotel and the bonus of underground secure parking. The staff are very nice and the rooms a very good size - my only problem was the heat - to hot in the room and had to sleep with the window open!! Wonderful breakfast.
