This place is weird. Parma is a small city, and once we arrived we really wondered what we were doing in this hulk of a hotel standing tall on the four lane thoroughfare encircling the city. It seems to be made for large groups arriving by bus. As Parma is a B list destination, there were no groups. Indeed this...

Stopped there for one night! Check in was done efficiently. Actually I was very impressed as The reception team could speak fluently so many languages ! The room was clean & tidy with a functioning A/C. A pleasant stay Overall... Did not have The Time to try The restaurant even if The menu looked very interesting!

We enjoyed two nights here during our Globus Tour. The large room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Spotless bathroom with ample toiletries. The room was beautifully decorated with fabric covered walls! Very good Breakfast Buffet.

This hotel was excellent with two caveats: One, they wouldn't lend us two plates for eating birthday cake in the room, which seemed a little chintzy. Two, the wall art in the lobby is really weird and creeped us out.

I was a little disappointed in the hotel. The website and pictures presents a well-kept hotel but unfortunately the hotel is aging and requires renovation and upkeep. Our room was larger...actually larger than most standard rooms. The bathroom was the best part of our stay...large and bright. Although the hotel may look classical in decor, it requires proper maintenance nonetheless...

It's actually a nice place. The location is fair, however, the room was clean and spacious friendly staff and nice restaurant. I don't know if there are other hotels in the area but this one was ok . There is a supermarket across the street which I found convenient. Although the neighborhood was fair.

We stayed only for one night but everything was perfect! Very clean, big rooms and friendly people! The location was perfect since it was easy to walk to the center! The reception booked for us a great restaurant for pasta!! Two families from Greece

This place is quite striking externally and looks like a typical hotel of the period inside. We were there for a meeting and to spend some time in Parma. Old fittings and old style. The elevators are slow - the steps are steep and somewhat narrow. Meeting space was actually quite good. Our room was quiet and a bit dark....

Brief stay for business with no dinner or breakfast taken. Grand looking hotel.... a little tired looking inside and in the room. Good facilities in room - large bathroom, good toiletries, stocked chargeable mini bar. Reception could be friendlier. Parking on site.

I have booked a superior room at this hotel thinking that's a bit more spacious but wasn't. This building with its location near the park and access is very well designed. Also the interior design seems to be one memorable by its classic decor. What surprised me is missing of some banal facilities that can make your stay at least...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to The Golden Age of Travel. The 4 star Du Parc Parma is rich in Art Nouveau influences, from the striking symmetry of the hotel's façade to the Liberty style fabrics inside. Located next to the leafy green spaces of the Parco Ducale, we also offer 10 flexible meeting rooms and two renowned restaurants. Whether business, pleasure, or a bit of both, it's an experience to savour. No visit to Parma would be complete without sampling the region's gastronomic heritage, and the restaurants at Du Parc provide the chance to do just that. Canova offers a mix of local and international cuisine in a welcoming setting for up to 50 diners, whereas Aiglon can host 200 for grand banquets. Together, they're often cited as among the best restaurants in Parma. Our Bistrot by Eataly Bar completes the set, offering an elegant space for coffees, light lunches and evening aperitifs. ... more   less
