My husband and I took a chance on this adventure, and we had a fantastic time. Our room was comfortable, the farm was interesting and very welcoming, Giovanni was a perfect host. We ate and drank amazing food at local restaurants, traveled to neighboring Fontanatello, a charming city with a tiny castle, and wandered through Parma. We still talk about...

Giovanni Leoni is a consummate host. With his "10 words of English" (he's too modest), he helped me make arrangements before the trip, greeted us warmly upon arrival and made us reservations for one of the best dinners of my life (and he drove us to and from). Before dinner, when my husband and I opened a bottle of wine,...

Our host, Giovanni, is a very charming gentleman whose "hobby" is the B&B on his working dairy farm, where his day job is producing Parmigiana Reggiano and growing vegetables, fruits, honey, etc., both for use on the farm and commercial production. Giovanni gave us a tour of the farm and grounds and showed us all the vegetables and fruit that...

Staying at Leoni B&B provided us with a wonderful look at a working Parmesan cheese producers farm. Our comfortable room was in an old farmhouse. We were given a tour of the local Parmesan cooperative and watched the process of cheesemaking. We also visited the cow barns and learned much about the breeding and care of these special animals. It...

We sort of stumbled upon this agriturismo, when surfing the internet, looking for a place to stay close to Parma. And were we glad we found this one! Agriturismo Leoni has about 7 rooms and is located on a farm that houses about 200 cows that deliver the milk for Parmezan cheese. The room was very clean and has all...

The B&B leoni is situated in a convenient area near Parma. The room is clean and comfortable but lacks TV (and cups in the bathroom for who is used to use them for brushing teeth...). Breakfast is cakes and toast/rolls with home-made butter (excellent), very good honey (home-made) and confitures and Coffee or tea. The personel is very sympathetic. Very...

If you want to know what it's like to actually live in Italy, and if you are fan of Parmagiano Reggiano cheese, this is the place to be. Understand, this is not a hotel, and although the innkeepers, Lola and Cinzia are fabulous hosts, if you require the usual hotel amenities, this probably isn't for you. Having said that, the...

The farm is located in outskirts of Parma on a small highway. If you'll figure its nice country side; no way and if you figure staying in a village; not really, you'll just hear the bypassing trucks as the barn is literally next to the road and when no cars noice through the almost non existing door. The breakfast is...

My family and I were on holiday in Italy and decided to stop in Parma to see the history of Parmesan Reggiano making. We were unsure of where to stay but when we came across this house on the internet we knew that this was the perfect spot. It is a working farmhouse in Parma which provides amazing accomadations. We...

Had a great time. Rooms are simple but nice. Great tour of the Parmigano factory and a relaxed and helpful cooking class (if a tad expensive). You really need a car to stay as it is not in central Parma.
