this is one of the nicest and most comfortable and comforting hotels at which I have ever stayed. I had a large room, albeit at a somewhat high price, but it was worth it. The décor was Venetian but not overdone, the bed was awesomely comfortable, the bathroom modern and well appointed. Lots of sitting space. the hotel has a...

I am wordless. How do you describe a hotel built in 1453 for a single family with the original frescoes on the walls? 1453 is 40 years before Columbus came to North America. The photo that accompanies "tripadvisor" may be the room we stayed in. Please notice the height of the ceilings and the king sized bed. When the taxi...

Since my art history class in college i've wanted to see the amazing mosaics of Ravenna....finalamente! And they are as beautiful as i thought.. Staying at this quaint hotel made our two days better than expected. Our blue room was very spacious, the memory foam mattress was so comfy i slept like a baby and we loved the double teak...

Very friendly and welcoming staff that couldn't do enough for us. Hotel located in the best part of town, close to everything and on a lovely street. Restaurant is excellent and all staff very friendly and helpful!

Fabulous historic hotel right in the centre of Ravenna. We had a junior suite which consisted of the most enormous bedroom, a bed you could get lost in and a marble lined bathroom. The staff could not have been more helpful. Someone spirited our car away and brought it back the next day. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel...

This is a great place to soak up this charming, slightly bo-ho town, justifiably renowned for its concentration of incredibly beautiful mosaics gleaming in a variety of Byzantine sites. The streets outside are narrow and filled with pedestrians, dogs, cyclists and the occasional vehicle, including our own, which the hotel kindly parked for us for a small fee. The two...

Lovely historic hotel in a spot-on location in upscale, central Ravenna. Pretty, spacious rooms and large, contemporary bathrooms. The staff was very helpful and kind. Nice onsite restaurant and bar make it even more convenient. Would return.

This old palazzo is lovely inside. It's perfectly located in the old part of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was charming and plenty large. The bed was comfortable. There were power outlets on each side of the bed, though the nightstand lamps had to be unplugged to use the outlets for charging phones and other...

I stayed in the Amaranth Dream suite for three nights in February 2016. This place is brilliant! Just a lovely little hotel with great service. The staff were very charming and helpful, the location is perfect, Ravenna and its mosaics were dazzling. Since I was there in low season the restaurant was closed during my stay. (I think they said...

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the hotel Albergo Cappello in late September, staying in the Blue Room, paying 175 euros per night ($195), with breakfast included. This boutique hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Ravenna train station, or parking garages are available within a 5-minute walk (parking is 13 euros per day). The positives start with...
