The location is great. Most of the staff was friendly. Has a good bar and a really good bartender. The restaurant was average. The raw shrimp was on the fishy side. We didn’t check the room before we took our luggage up. The manager turned on the air conditioner when we went in. Since the weather was really hot we thought it would take some time to cool. We went out had dinner and came back in late. The room still hadn’t cooled. The AC unit was hardly putting out air. The amount of that did come out was some what cool. There wasn’t anybody at that time to talk to. Could not sleep most of the night as the temperature was around 38C. The next morning we wanted to change the room. The front desk said it was not possible since all the rooms were booked. She put an old fan in to the

Despite a difficult travel to Ravenna, arriving at the Albergo truly felt like coming home to an oasis. This stunning seven-room boutique hotel is in the heart of the historic old town and just across from the amazing market. Monica and her team are absolutely fantastic, welcoming and super super helpful. The room was stylishly furnished as befits such a historic house, staying there feels like being guests at a noble house. And the restaurant is also a must try, the swordfish on eggplant was out of this world. An enoteca is also part of the restaurant thus the wine selection is carefully chosen and a delight to browse through. Ravenna has many reasons for a traveller to return, but this albergo just joined that list.

Charming and confortable accommodation well above the rated 3 stars. Most rooms have period frescoes perfectly complemented by a tasteful decoration. The bedding is first class too. Excellent breakfast and, for the gourmet, a refined restaurant where local cuisine is enriched by a southern Italian touch and accompanied by a selection of fine wines. I will be back.

I had a nice little dinner over a small serving of local raw ham (good) and a delicious stuffed squid, accompanied by a good glass of Sangiovese Superiore. Not cheap, but the quality deserves it. Service may be improved: the waiters do not care much to pick your order, take away the used dishes, etc.

We had the best time in this charming boutique hotel, perfectly located in the city centre. The hotel combines the appeal of tradition with a unique atmosphere. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. With their enthusiasm and pride for their town they made our stay memorable. The room was spacious and well organized and the marble bathroom impeccable. Last but not least, dogs are truly welcome here.

The grade is an average between: - 5: for the building, room, restaurant, cleanliness and contacts before our arrival - 0: for the treatment given to us during our stay I start with the positive side. Before our arrival the hotel staff was very helpful in giving us prompt replies and indications through email. They also gave us a car pass to enter the restricted area of the city, and suggested some parking lots to use. The building is an historical building well in the center of the city, and the room we stayed was very cozy with an amazing original ceiling. The room was very clean. We also tried their restaurant for dinner, and while the service was slow (even if we were the only guests), the food was good and the waiters were courteous. Negative side: we felt mistreated

Only 7 rooms, but mine, # 102, was a tiny room, with a decent sized bathroom. Breakfasts need a rethink- a bizarre mix of cold offerings and cakes. How about a nice hot breakfast....... Attached Enoteca is busy, and has the same menu as the more formal hotel dining room. Ate there twice- very good. Staff are very helpful, and the hotel is well located.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. But the absolutely best part is the staff. Nothing is too much for them. They go out of their way to make everything work for their customers. One even came to the restaurant where we were having dinner to make sure that we knew how to get into the hotel. The only negative is the noise from the street. We had to run the air conditioning because the noise was keeping us awake.
