We randomly chose this hotel through Google. It was rated one of the best hotels in the centre of Trieste. So, my Italian husband, my sister and boyfriend visiting from D.C. and I rolled with it. Thank God it was clean and comfy. My sister and I are germ freaks and can't sleep in beds that are not clean and...

Chose this hotel to be close to the centre and stations. It is that and this is where the convenience ends. The hotel is a bit dated, rooms quite shabby, fridges don't work in the middle of summer. The only drink you can get is with breakfast in the morning, no bar no tea or coffee making facilities. It is clean,...

Dearest Guest, we're sorry for the inconvenience of the fridges (mini bar). We always have two brand new minibars at the reception in case of necessity, so if it's a problem with the minibar in the room, the guests tell us and in 5 minutes we change it. The reception is open 24/24 so if the guests need coffee/tea/drinks we...

I stayed at the Hotel Abbazia for just one night in May 2013 and was very satisfied. Upon arrival, I was greeted and helped with a big smile, my car was taken care of for me, and my room was very comfortable and allowed for a nice and quiet rest before and after a concert I was in Trieste to...

We were in Trieste for the marathon in May, and stayed Friday through Monday. The room was fine, the location was perfect, and most importantly the owners were exceptional. We took the bus from the airport and were within 100 meters of the hotel of the bus station. We were a ten minute walk to the center of town from...

I was there at the end of April for three days with my wife. The venue was worth the price: just near the train station, at 100 meters from the sea and from city center. The staff was truly nice and caring, while the room was clean and very luminous. Nothing more to ask!

We had the most wonderful time here! The hotel seems to have new owners who put a lot of love in decorating the hotel and managed to create a very welcoming atmosphere. The room was comfortable, spotless and quite. It also seemed to have been freshly refurbished. There's a a bit of an artistic vibe too, with changing exhibitions, which...

We had a great stay here. The hotel has just been totally renovated so our room had all new furnishings, including bed and mattress. A big plus for us. And spotlessly clean! The couple that run the place were lovely and knew all the ins and outs of the city. The hotel is close to the main train/bus station but...
