Whilst the Villa might have nice big rooms, we never got to see them. You can see on a front photo of the villa a small squat 1-story outhouse attached to the right hand side of the building (as you look at the front) This is room A6 and this is the room we got, which was not at all...

Lovely secluded hotel, with arty decor, in pleasant grounds with a small swimming pool. Breakfast was on the terrazza, but was pretty much standard in quality. Access by car was slightly awkward through a locked gate at the top of a narrow, steep road, but parking was not a problem once inside. The staff were very helpful, directing us to...

It looks as we would sleep in a castle but finally get a room with low windows and low ceiling and bathroom without a window. The so called park is a beautiful garden with a small swimming pool. Access road 1.8 meters wide, steeply upward. Suppose you meet an oncoming vehicle: I did. Just stay away from here . Even...

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Trieste. This is our third year in a row to stay at the Villa Bottacin. We enjoy it so much that we've ended up staying more days each time we visit. This year we spent 10 days at this small, boutique hotel. We love the beautifully landscaped garden, swimming pool, large terrace...

Stayed here for one week in June.Beautiful villa in lovely well kept grounds. The road to it was narrow but well worth it as it was so peaceful once inside, couldn't believe we were in the centre of a city.We had two lovely ground floor rooms with patios. The staff were brilliant and couldn't help us enough. Would love to stay there...

We had booked rooms for four nights, stayed only one. The location is not in nice neighbourhood. Awful road to the villa. Timeworn rooms with bad air. No balcony or terrace at the room. Wifi didn't work properly. Small pool with lot of leaves in there.

Beautiful villa in a beautiful environment surrounded by greenery, near the park, you do not have the feeling that you're in town. Wake up with chirping of birds and peacocks. Access to the villa by car is very challenging due to the very narrow road

Beautiful and clean room with balcony, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast buffet. We woke up with birds singing every morning... it is in a surprisingly quiet area, but it only takes 10 minutes to get to the centre of town by bus.

Not easy to find but what a marvel! An old villa set in a beautiful garden with old trees, nice swimming pool, offering large rooms and breakfast on the terrace, quiet and yet only few minutes from the centre. The staff is very nice. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at this little beautiful hotel. The reception were very helpful and did everything they could to make your stay perfect. The pool was a little bit tired and needed a brush up. There was the most wonderful garden by the hotel. Totally private - perfect for coupls.

Thank Daniel B
