Hotel is in a wonderful location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. An easy 15 minute walk from the train station in a quiet area close to the sea. Breakfasts were delicious with several choices of wonderful pastries, fruit, eggs, various hams, etc. - your typical Italian buffet with coffee served any which way you'd like it. The room had...

This lovely hotel is steps from the small harbor of this northernmost Cinqueterre town. Best of all, it is easily accessible from the parking lot on the northwest end of the town, enabling suitcases to be rolled along pavement with minimal climbing until one reaches the single flight of stairs leading to the hotel entrance. Rooms are small but comfortably...

We stayed 4 nights in September 2012, in a double room with a terrace for a rate between 150-180 Euro per night. When we started our Monterosso hotel hunt, we found out that to start looking in June was kind of late for a stay in September. Almost all of the top 5 TripAdvisor hotels had been fully booked and...

Stayed here for 1 night with my wife in April 2013. Its has a very warm and initmate feeling to it. Entering the hotel was like entering a home, very nice. Selene on reception was very friendly and helpful and gave us a choice of rooms. It has a lot of character and the breakfast room was sweet with a...

My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights. The staff were so helpful and it was a great location. The walk paths were closed on Cinque Terre so we did a boat trip to Porto Venero one day which was fabulous, another we trained to Lucca and explored. What a beautiful city. Another day we trained and ferry to...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon in 2011 and returned again 2012 because we love the town so much and the hotel is great! It is a good location in Monterosso, probably about 200 yards from the beach. Walkable distance from the train station, just through the tunnel. There are some steps to get into...

The room was fantastic with a balcony and a slight view of the ocean. Great staff and a beautiful spot. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere nice to stay in the Cinque Terre. I can't remember her name but the lady who ran the breakfast was lovely, enjoyed going down there for a morning chat with my coffee

Very nice gem in Monterosso. Appeared newly updated, spacious patio, quiet room, helpful and friendly staff. Price is right too! Breakfast was very good in large dining room. Was a little difficult locating from train station but a helpful local pointed us in the right direction. Easy walk from train. Close to great restaurants. Very picturesqe town. Loved Monterosso.

We stayed at La Collonina in early October. Great location in the old part of town, lovely helpful staff, breakfast was well presented with a good selection. Our large room had it;s own ivy covered terrace and we also took advantage of the roof top terrace with a lovely view to the sea. Great 70's retro feel to this place....

Large clean room with a grape vine-surrounded terrace with a nice view of the town roof tops. Good location in downtown Monterosso. Staff was very friendly. Beds were not very comfortable, but similar to most beds encountered in Italy. Wi-fi in our room also was weak. Be careful of the elevator...we were stuck in it for 20 minutes.
