I thought this was a great place and very reasonably priced. The mom didn't speak English but was adorable. Valerie answered emails very quickly. We didn't notice the sewer smell noted by other reviewers. We had two rooms. One had a private bathroom. The other...More
I really cant understand all the complaints in here. When i travel to a foreign land, i don't expect that people there speak my language. Valerias english was excellent and her mother really tried to speak a slow italian so i could understand her....More
We had a wonderful time here. Fresh, clean, comfortable rooms. We had our own private bathroom. Lovely family-run b&b, always helpful and friendly. Organising the booking was quick and easy and emails were always promptly answered. There was an assortment of food for breakfast including...More
Tiny bathroom which had an overbearing sewerage smell. Hand basin stuck into your shoulder while you sat on toilet. Hot pokey room filled with useless furniture. Open window didn't help but a small fan gave some relief. Floors sticky. Cigarette ash on kitchen benches and...More

We stayed at here in early Sept this year and paid 90 Euro per night for B&B. It's located a short 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than that to the beach. It's in the newer part of Monterosso but the older part of the village is only an easy and pretty 10 minute walk.
We had to book direct with this B&B as they do not seem to deal through online booking websites.
Marisa is the 'nonna' who runs the B&B but her adult daughter Valeria responds to English speaking booking enquiries. I've tried to type in the email address we have for this B&B into this message but Tripadvisor's system will not accept this post until I had removed it.
We would definitely recommend B&B Marisa from our experience here.
