Like other reviewers I just cant say enough good things about our wonderful stay at Manuel's Guest House. This property is ranked #1 right now in Monterosso for very good reason. The view from their patios is spectacular, and so worth the climb up the stairs to get there. Lorenzo and Giovanni are gracious hosts and looked after our every... More

Stop looking for a place to stay. Just book this place. You will love it. Very reasonable rates. You do need to walk up a bunch of stairs (100+) but it is so worth it (and really not as bad as it sounds). The view is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and very modern. We had a room with a... More

After spending 3 weeks in Europe, between France and Italy, our stay at Manuel's Guest House was hands down our favorite part of our trip. As others have said, we did not at all mind the stairs as it aided in offsetting the numerous calories that we consumed and was extra training for the incredible hikes of the Cinque Terre.... More

I can't say enough about our experience at Manuel's Guest House. October, 2016 was actually my second time to stay at Manuel's after a wonderful experience in 2011. The first thing you will notice is the climb to reach Manuel's, but if you are physically able, the climb is SO worth it! The view from our room and from the... More

Manuel's Guesthouse is a gem in the heart of the Cinque Terre. The first time we stayed here for only three nights and vowed to come back for longer. This year we stayed for 8 nights (we slept like babies thanks to an awesome tempurpedic mattress), and it still did not feel like enough. The accommodations are wonderful, the view... More

Lorenzo and his father were absolutely the BEST! They were helpful, attentive, very friendly and served a lovely breakfast. This place is spotless and affords gorgeous views from it's hilltop location. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This little hotel is awesome! Lorenzo met us at the bottom of the stairs (which we called the double gelato stairs because we earned double gelato every time we went up them) and helped carry our luggage up. We were greeted with Ciao's from Giovanni at the top and a view that is nothing short of stunning. Our room was... More

I a 73, visiting the Cinque Terre for the second time with a friend 9 years younger --- so was worried about climbing up and down over 140+ steps to get to this B&B ... but Lorenzo met us in the lower square and carried our bags up ... and then back down when we left for the train, and... More

10/10. 100 steps up, but worth every one. When I walked into my room the view from my balcony was stunning. The room was clean, modern, spacious, free wifi, everything one could want. Breakfast variety really good & to sit & look out over the coastline was just beautiful. Giovanni & Lorenzo were so friendly & helpful. The place is... More

Manuel's Guest House is truly a gem in old Monterosso. First, you want to stay in old Monterosso if you love the charm of the narrow streets, (hint: no cars), tons of shops and restaurants, and people walking, socializing and enjoying this very special village in the Italian Riviera. It's true there are a few steps to climb to Manuel's... More
