Awful! Please do not stay at this hostel. My friend and I emailed the hostel in advance asking for directions, as there were none on the website, and we never received a response. The hostel was quite difficult to find. Once we arrived there was no one at the hostel. Simply a note stating "check in call this number". We...

My friend and I stayed at La Casa di Venere for one night while visiting the Cinque Terre. It was very basic, but very accommodating. The room was spacious, and the bathroom clean. The air conditioner helped us stay cool during the day, and the window open kept us cool overnight. There is no wi-fi at this hotel, but many...

Found the property with helpful advice from a fruit shop owner at the bottom of the hill. Elena came with 10 minutes of our call. Room was small for a family with two grown children, but workable. Couldn't get the air conditioning to work or all the lights, either. Heavy blankets on a hot night with no top sheet for...

I stayed in this hotel with my family. The room was not clean and the bathroom there was mould in the bathroom and it definitely did not represent value for money. The hotel was run remotely so that to get access you needed to phone the owner who appeared to sometimes leave keys hidden around the hotel for guests to...

Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Ended up staying an extra night and was accommodated well. No breakfast and you'll need to call when you get there to tell them you've arrived since there is no checkin desk. Hopefully you have a phone. No wifi was a bit of an issue in my books. Could not get a 3G network connection...

I booked accomodation for 3 nights and received a confirmation email. A month before the trip I received a cancellation email with no explanation. Subsequent emails requesting an explanation sent to the business were ignored. These people are unreliable.

The owner speaks better english than the average italian shop owner, and he was kind and happy to help us. The room was ok for one night, but the bathroom was not. It had mold and the shower was not what you call clean.

Eileen USA Confortable and clean rooms at la Casa di Venere. Friendly and efficient staff always available to give infos about Le Cinque Terre and the best way to visit the nice little villages. And the walks with fab vista points from the hilltops or along the coast line. A place where you would like to return and recommend.
