This second floor room, called Cessa Doia on their website, offered a fantastic view of Piazza Marconi, the harbor, and its pebbled sandy beach. A few steps had to be negotiated along with an uphill inclined climb but wasn't that difficult for my wife and...More
Really enjoyed our stay in a "local" room in one of the quaint alleys of Vernazza. Room was a nice size (by European standards) and very clean. Reasonably priced. Easy walk to and from the train/trails to visit the other villages. I would have rated...More
The fridge didn't work and the space is tiny. We liked how close it was to everything, so that made up for us not knowing how to get there or where to pay. Luckily they were willing to work with us, they came and found...More
We arrived in Vernazza by train and were met by the throngs of bustling tourists. As we strolled down from the train station we were am amazed by the beauty of the little buildings and the charm of the village. At the end of the...More
We had high hopes for this accommodation, but it was really lacking. The pictures were far nicer than the reality, plus so many things did not work. The kettle was broken, the fridge was broken and the wifi was about equal to dial up with...More

Thanks for the reply. We decided to stay in Spezia, sorry do not want to send all credit card info over email, and the Giai room -only a room facing an alley with some not so great reviews for 110 Euro per night, all in all, not worth it when a train from Spezia gets you there in 30 minutes or less. Might have been okay, but I decided not to take the chance. Should have a secure website for credit card info.

I can ony speak to Da Dele as we just stayed there this past October. It is right in the plaza on the second floor. You do have a view but ony if you're sitting at the table; the view isn't prevalent from everywhere in the flat. We loved it as the location was perfect and the flat itself had everything we needed. If you're looking for more of a view from all angles, then you should look further up the hill outside of the main plaza.
