First of all keep in mind that this is a B&B and not a hotel and the thus reception is closed after 8:00 pm. Pros. Good location on the main pedestrian street mid-way between the railway station (10 min walk) and the seaside promenade. Clean room and quite spacious by European standards Friendly welcome by the owner (Carla, who speaks...

Good morning Nina, thanks for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay here and that you remember me (Isabella) and my mother Carla. Anyway, i would like to clarify that we are an official, two stars rated, HOTEL and not and B&B. This is very important and respectful for us and for our job. B&B's and guest...

Crismar Hotel is a family run hotel tucked down a cute little alley off of a main road. Right outside the hotel, there are tables and chairs to relax at. During our stay, there was a festival going on on the main road, but we really didn't even notice the music from our room. We were so glad we found...

We lived this little place, vintage and homey. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff that explained to us how to navigate the trains to go visit Cinque Terre. They served a hearty breakfast that included some protein ( not true at all B and Bs in Italy)

We ended up with a first floor room with a door off the lobby and the window off the courtyard. Avoid this room at all cost, do not book if this is the room they will have for you as the lobby noise and the courtyard noise makes it problematic. In addition, there's nobody staffing the desk (it's a small...

Hello Charles, thanks for your review. We remember very well your stay here, and the embarassment of your wife while you explained us the "knocking" at your door during the night. We are very sorry about this problem but we honestly think that this can't be a fault of the room or of the hotel. Even if you stay in...

Tucked away down an alley, off the main pedestrian street in La Spezia, and about half way between the train station and the port, Hotel Crisper is a small, charming hotel housed in a former mill. Staff are all friendly, everyone speaks English quite well and will also indulge the visitor who wants to practice their Italian. Our room, however,...

Good evening, thanks for your review! We're glad that you enjoyed your stay in your hotel and that you liked our staff and service! Nevertheless we just want to explain the issue about light in the room during the night: in Italy we mostly use two different modes to blind the windows: “persiane” and “tapparelle”. The green panels you can...

Fantastic hotel. Personnel is very helpful and comprehensive. We mistakenly booked a single room instead of a double room. The staff quickly found a solution even though it was too late to cancel. We did not have to pay anything, and they help us find another hotel because this one was full.

Hello!! and thanks for your review :-)! Generally it is not possible cancel or modify the reservation without penalties the same day of arrival but in your case we made an exception: you booked only a few hours before your arrival our last room (single) and you arrived in two persons... it was a pleasure for us to help you...

i reserved online based upon reviews and central (walkable) location - as a single female traveler I was a little worried upon arrival because of its 'alley' location, but those concerns were unwarranted. I was very comfortable, staff was helpful, breakfast was good, and as expected the location worked out perfectly.

We had a perfect 2 night stay here. Travelling through on our honeymoon we wanted a base to quickly explore the Cinque Terre. Crismar is perfect for this! Clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for its center town location. Charming courtyard, friendly staff. Short walk to cinque terre trains and boat trips. Highly recommended (if perhaps a little expensive.

This is not a fancy or over the top hotel. It is extremely basic, but gets the job done. The location is nestled in between two buildings around the corner from a pharmacy and several restaurants. Things to know: 10 minute walk from the train station underground parking Small room Small shower Clean Very affordable

Good morning Elizabeth, thanks for your review! Since we are closed in this period it is hard for us to recognize who you are, generally we love to remember every guest :-).
