Sinora Silvia was an absolute gem in helping me find my feet after our family had an unfortunate incident and needed to go to a specialist hospital in Milan. After trying 3 other hotels, I found her and she did not disappoint. She offered to...More
We had a wonderful 5-nights stay at Botton d'Oro. 3 colleagues and I shared the small apartment on the second floor during a congress at the Università. The B&B is comfortable, clean, cosy, well-situated, practical (we had a kitchenette)... The owner is absolutely charming, and...More
I booked the Botton d'Oro, but fell unexpectedly ill and had to cancel my already paid room after the regular cancellation time. They were very understanding and refunded me the payment without fees.
Their customer service is very recommendable.

Unfortunately we were also overbooked in another place with old appartments without tv, wifi, gluten free breakfast, a view, nice decoration,... Even though we had written an e-mail in the morning that we were coming on the same day, we were not informed about "their...More

We stayed at the one in Via Bartolomeo Colleoni. Area is also called Citta Alta. It was very central and beautiful. Not exactly sure which piazza you are referring to but I will suggest to try and contact the hosts if you are uncertain - they are very friendly and can speak English. The rooms are not all in the same building but still gorgeous and to walk down the cobbelstone road to have breakfast was part of the holiday and experience.
Enjoy your holiday!
