We had lunch here two years ago and enjoyed it, so when we had an opportunity to spend a night in Bergamo again we decided to revisit. If anything, it was better than before. The service was a little more relaxed and friendly and the food was great. We had lunch, and after spending the afternoon looking around, we decided...

Wow what a find. Wonderful old fashioned service, great menu and terrific wine list. The restaurant is part of a family run Auberge and prides itself on good service. Our meal was delicious, well cooked and beautifully served. Gorgeous in fact.

I liked everything: the decor, room, cleanliness, breakfast, silence, although in the hotel is a large restaurant. Nice view from the window on roofs. Located on the corner of Piazza Vecchia, the main square in Old town (Citta Alta). Near many restaurants, shops, the restaurant in hotel is also a very good, tasty and priced appropriately. Bus stop and funiculars...

This hotel was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us call for a taxi on our last day. The breakfast was very tasty and they can make you any type of coffee, we got cappuccinos. There is no lift in the hotel so you will have to carry your luggage up to your room. Our room...

I usually go for 4 stars-deals and up just for comfort and amenities after a long day of sightseeing. I booked this one according to the reviews and lack of rooms eleswhere. There is minimum comfort here, no A/C, basic mattress, a tiny TV, cramped bathroom, wieird wall color, etc, but this place is shining by its simplicity and the...

This is a very nice hotel. Clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff / owners. Rooms a little bit old buth spacious. The first floor is odd, you have to go up and down some stairs to get there. This is because the hotel exists of multiple buildings that are connected.

It is located in Piazza Vecchia. It is slightly old but very clean and spacious. The price was good too if you consider it's perfect location.Breakfast has small variety but very good quality. The lady in the counter was friendly. Wifi was free and the signal was good. It was quiet and the only thing you could hear was the...

Room is functional, but basic, like stepping back a few decades. With so many excellent restaurants in the area we made the mistake of eating in the hotel where service was too fast to be friendly, and the food was disappointing. My trout was astringent, I could not finish it. And the sorbet was a cold sugar syrup with just...

We were travelling back from Bergamo Airport in the evening and thought of having lunch before the flight. We have eaten here before in 2015 so headed straight there. The staff are really friendly. The food was amazing, my husband had the seafood risotto which was superb and I spoilt myself with a steak in pepper sauce, delicious. We are...

The best thing with this hotel is the location. It is as centre of the Citta Alta, the old town as you can get. The rooms are very basic but on the other hand they have what you need. The staff is very friendly and you almost feel like having been invited to visit somebody's home. If you have heavy...
