Go out of your way to find this restaurant and don't pass it by because it doesn't have a lake view or modern interiors. We were recommended by a local family and it was really delicious. Really good, traditional Itallian cooking. No pizza but instead amazing pasta, polenta with porcini mushrooms and some really succulent game dishes. Total bill for 4, with starters and puddings etc. €63. Don't eat in the Tourist traps of Bellagio, drive up to real Italy.

I would have rated this 2.5 if that was possible. The other reviews for this hotel are all in Italian and when were were there I was the only non-italian speaker (my partner speaks fluent Italian). They are clearly not welcoming of English speaking customers which is a shame.
The location, high above Bellagio near the top of Monte San Primo, is ideal for a mountain getaway but the standards are not there for a comfortable stay.
The room looked okay on first view but was severely let down by: Squeaky floorboards, leaking shower, poor heating, lack of hot water, musty smell, poor lighting, unstable desk & chair and uncomfortable bed.
The breakfast was made up of Bread, Brioche, Jam and Coffee - and Orange Juice on the second day (not originally offered). It was the worst we have had in six weeks of travelling.
The hotel was advertised as pet friendly however I did not expect to find two of the owners dog wandering around the complex inside and out - not hygenic at all.
So I suggest you look elsewhere, there will be better options available.
