Stayed one night with a tour group visiting Como. Rooms had old world charm with wood beams in the roof and old style furniture. Bathroom was spacious with twin sinks but actual shower was tucked in the corner and on the small side. It had a choose your temperature tap: 39C was perfect. It was close to the old part...

The hotel, a converted convent, has a central court yard, so there is parking available, at 15 euros per night. In the inner courtyard there is also a small pool for use in the summer season, but this was a March stay so the latter not used! I would just hope that the pool courtyard is kept free of parked...

Charming interior, uncomplicated, friendly service, good location in town centre with its own car park, and a very good restaurant (try the filetto di manzo). Perfect if you're in town for a short visit, perhaps on your way to the south or for a shopping trip. The only improvement needed is in bed comfort (including pollows), but nothing to complain...

I have been at Le Due Corti in October and it was very cold inside, very unpleasant. Otherwise it would be a pleasant stay in summer, the hotel has a certain charm being different, in a former convent. It keeps some elements from the old building. Furniture is old, maybe they wanted to keep the atmosphere... Breakfast for me OK but...

Recently stayed here for 7 nights on a trip to visit Lake Como. Rooms are well appointed with an individual feel. Breakfast offering is good with very friendly, helpful waiting on staff who were happy to get anything we needed. Special mention to the young dark haired receptionist who was delightful and so helpful with information with travel, best trips...

We spent a week at this hotel. It has a good location within 200m of the old city centre. A bit dated but clean and reasonably comfortable. Our double room facing a main road was much quieter than expected and the airconditioning was very effective even when the day temperatures were 33/34 C. We had one dinner at the hotel's...

This hotel is rated as 4* but I think it is closer to 3*. The room was comfortable with good air con, which you really need. The staff are friendly and helpful especially if you try using a little Italian even if it is just good morning or thank you. There are lots of places to eat out around Lake...

This is a great hotel which has retained some lovely features from the original old convent in which it is situated. It's in a good location just outside the old city walls, but it was a good 15 minute walk to the lake, which may be a drawback for some. The room we had was very good - large, plenty...

So, I would say this is a really good three star hotel. There are some areas that a bit dated but it is very clean, the hotel staff were so helpful and nice. The breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable. The parking was expensive but it was nice to know our car was safe and we could see it....

The aircondition was not good enough to keep good temperatures. We had about 28 C in our room the entire night, the outside had been around 30 C during the day but less than 25 C at night. The room was clean, the bed a bit too hard. The pool is a joke; it's very small and located on the...
