We arrived late at night and the owners had us well informed of how to get our key and what the process was. To be honest, we weren't sure what to expect. This location blew our ideas out of the water. Heated floors, exceptionally clean rooms that are well equipped for your stay are the norm here. Everything was new and well maintained. Even small details taken care of like separate cloths if you need to remove makeup so you don't ruin the white towels. The rooms have microwave and fridge and access to a full kitchen. Such a great place. We will be back in just a few weeks and can't wait. This is the caliber that you would find in a big chain hotel. Don't hesitate to recommend anyone to stay here at all. You'll be treated like family and no, not the family you don't like. LOL. More the family you can't wait to see!

Stayed here for 2 nights a few weeks ago when doing the Nahanni National Park tour. Really pleasant accommodation, very spacious room, clean and renovated. Due to Covid, the self-serve breakfast had to be taken from the shared kitchen back to the room, but there was everything you needed to make yourself some breakfast - plenty of pots, condiments, milk, nice coffee, jams, peanut butter etc. Breads and other food was not available at the time due to Covid precautions, but a local grocers is nearby and has everything you may need. The parking is just outside of your room. Great location of the motel as well; few minutes walk to the main street with shops, to get on the lovely walking trail along The MacKenzie River, and a short walk to catch a tour from one of the tour operators. The golf course, visitor centre, bar and restaurants are located a bit further, but not more than a 10 minute walk from the motel. Altogether a great spot to stay in Fort Simpson; I would gladly return to this beautiful community and great little motel.

Our two nights in Fort Simpson couldn't have been better: lots of helpful "extras" provided in a comfortable and clean room, with additional facilities for a great breakfast included. Central A/C with adjustable room vents worked well to keep the room cool during the hot weather. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest places we stayed in during our trip north. A quiet, comfortable room with everything that we needed and access to a communal kitchen with a variety of food for a light breakfast. Much appreciated the care that went into everything.

The Willows Inn in Fort Simpson is one of the nicest well kept motels I have ever stayed at. The attention to detail is pretty much unmatched. The management seems to have thought out every option a guest may need. Immaculately cleaned and maintained. It will be my #1 go to motel when I return.

The owners had us well informed of how to get our key and what the process goes on after. We don’t know what to expect as this is our first time to stay at Willow Inn but the room was very neat and clean, very spacious knowing that our room has 2 beds, the internet is great and fast. I love the cleanliness of the room and the shared kitchen are well maintained. The service and the value is worth to stay. Had a little conversation with Mr.Collin (owner) he is so very friendly and genuine. We Really enjoyed our stay and this is our new favourite motel to Stay with my family. I highly Recommend this Place :)

Super comfortable accommodations. Rooms are clean and very well appointed with coffee maker and fridge. Lots of space to unpack and spread out with a desk to work at. Colin and Leah built The Willows Inn with sustainability as a priority. The common kitchen area with cooking facilities allows 24 hour access to coffee, tea and breakfast regardless of the hours one is working. I highly recommend The Willows Inn and the Janor Guest House in Fort Simpson, NT.

The Willows Inn was a very nice accomodation. Leah and Colin are great hosts and are always there for questions and to dos in the area. The Room was clean, had a air condition and was lovely furnished. There is a community kitchen for the guests so you can make your own breakfast. You can cook for lunch or dinner as well and meet other guest's or have a little chat with Leah and Colin. We loved it here and will definitely come back, if we come to Fort Simpson again.

You can really tell alot about a place when the owners are away. That was the situation when we arrived after a 2 week rafting trip on the Nahanni. The woman managing the place in their absence was helpful, personable, and delightful. Rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The galley was well stocked with breakfast provisions at a time when most of the communities in the region had been evacuated thanks to wildfires.

This was by far one of the most comfortable stays I've had in either the Northwest Territories or Nunavut. The room was made spotless every day by the excellent housekeeping service, and the owners were friendly and helpful. This will be my go-to when I go back to Fort Simpson.
