Really beautiful hotel, very ornate and grand with beautiful chandeliers and furniture. I stayed in a superior room which had 2 lovely big windows and balconies with lovely views of the lake. The spa was really nice, in a cave type surrounding, with plenty of...More
First impressions of the hotel were....a rather grand hotel in its hay day...still clinging onto a by gone era. I almost expected to see Ralph Fiennes in character from the Grand Budapest Hotel wafting round the hotel with Zero the bell boy!

We were on a Riviera Tour in June 2017. We upgraded our hotel to Regina Palace and it was a magnificent hotel in most ways. Our half board included breakfast and dinner. Both were excellent for a group tour. Our head waiter was fabulous and...More

Hy, we stayed 4 nights in the hotel stresa palace in Lago Maggiore. During our stay in the hotel there were so many family's with baby's and teenagers. There are friendly in the hotel. Right opposite the hotel you have public beach access for free, you have to bring towels, hotel is not providing any beach service. In walking distance there is a little plaza where you can sit and eat everywhere. Like pasta etc. In our hotel there is no activity for kids in or around the pool but it is flat on one side and deeper on the other side so kids can play. But no slides or anything like that. They have a beautiful parc area in the hotel, like a big garden. Unfortunately I'm here not able to put any pics otherwise I would do. So like I said lots of family's with kids and even baby's. Hope it was helpful 🙂
