I was a guest of Hotel Alba for just one night, during weekend. The hotel has a relatively good location, around 10-15 minutes until the first metro station that connects very well the city. I did't take the metro, I preferred to walk to the main attractions. About one hour walk to Duomo Cathedral. The room was clean, quiet, with... More

We came for the design fair and Hotel Alba offered all what we needed: clean and simple room, friendly staff and free WiFi. It is also located in a nice area full of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.

and not even the best one. Room was ok, we had a double bed private with common use toilet. What I found strange that the shower is in the corner of the room, isolated only with two shower wands, so every time you shower the room gets wet with vapors. And there is no common room or kitchen - a... More

I didnt actually book this location but the other location wasnt available (best guess is long term rental for someone) so they gave me Alba instead which I now evaluate. Location was somewhat ok, but the rooms windows were poor. It was approximately 12 C inside with light cool breeze. I slept with my clothes on. Same did another traveller.... More

Actually it is pretty far away from the Central Station, it's about 20-25 minutes walk. Our accomodation was in an other building. It was really hot in the room. The shower was so small i couldn't turn around in it... It wasnt so clean either. In the mixed dorm i didnt get any towels, but my friends got in the... More

A very grim and dull place, not very welcoming. The only good thing about it was that it was clean. Shower in the bedroom is unhygienic and a bit mouldy, after taking a shower the room gets steamy - it's like sleeping in the bathroom. Toilet is inn the corridor outside. No common areas, no breakfast, not the best neighbourhood,... More

It was an unpleasant and infuriating experience in this hostel. First of all, it is in a far location from the metro station, unlike stated in the website. If you have luggage with you, it is a long walk in the lambrate neighbourhood which is messy and unclean. After we reached the building, we were shocked to find that it... More
