I can only echo what the other reviews say. The place is great. The bedroom and restroom are immaculately clean and very comfortable. Beatrice even provided a little toddler bed for our 2-year-old. Beatrice was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My only gripe would be that it's not within easy walking distance of most of the sites in Milan. I think...

We spent two nights with the charming and helpful Beatrice who speaks perfect English. She is a wonderfult hostess, friendly, welcoming and a mine of information but never intrusive. On arrival, she provided us with a map of Milan with recommendations of what to see. Her B&B comprises a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a separate bathroom and the...

Dear guest , thanks for your kind words, sorry you missed the milk: we don't put it with the kettle not to leave it at room temperature. We will be glad to provide milk upon request as we do not use UHT milk.

We stayed one night at Althea while in Milan visiting my sister (who conveniently lives around the corner from the B&B). What a gem this place is! Beatrice is such a wonderful hostess, so friendly and kind. She also has a sweet dachshund, Ned, who is very friendly. The room is spacious, bright and cozy. Great bed and sheets. The...

Wonderful B&B. The location is good, in a quite area not far away (and easily accessible by public transportation) from the city center, really close to Porta Garibaldi station. You will feel at home, so cozy, so well taken care of, it is a jewel in Milan. The breakfast is excellent and I've had the best fresh fruit salad I've...

We spent a night here and were glad we chose this B&B on the last stop of our two-week road trip. Beatrice's lovely abode is located in a residential area away from the hustle and bustle of touristy Milan. We had a car but chose to leave it in the parking lot and explored the city by bus which is...

BB Althea is a calm, very nice and relaxed place closed to the heart of Milan. We enjoyed our stay (three days) very much. Beatrice gave us a lot of good advices to discover Milan, to find good restaurants etc. To stay in her beautiful house was a great pleasure.

The best thing about this B&B is the owner, Beatrice. She was helpful from the first e-mail I sent to the entire week we stayed in her lovely facility. It's rather like renting a small apartment than a B&B, but her breakfasts were great (thanks for the decaf) and she was so helpful with maps, directions, and just nice conversation....

“It is not the easiest to find. When on the right street find the building labelled '3' on the left hand side (building before the one covered in wisteria) and then one is labelled 'althea' rather than a surname, so buzz that.”
