just come back from a three nights stay at Althea with an American friend. An Italian colleague had suggested we'd be happy there, and we were! Hot weather in Milan, but well working air conditioning. Quiet, nicely decorated and well equipped room. Very good italian breakfast: fresh bread, homemade jam, fresh fruit...and the owners so helpful with everything we asked...

I stayed at Althea in June and had a perfect stay. Lovely apartment with a comfortable and large bedroom, equipped with all you need , including AC and WiFi, a private bathroom and access to the sitting room. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Althea is situated in a nice, safe and quiet neighborhood with good connections to the...

Beatrice was an absolutely wonderful host, and it was a pleasure getting to know her. I felt like she went beyond what most B&B proprietors would do to help a guest enjoy, and deal with some of the intricacies of, Milan and Lombardy. The room was large, spotless, and had plenty of amenities (AC, WiFi, TV, desk workspace, travel books,...

I was in Milan for few busy days and discovering this B&B has been a breakthrough. Lovely house, spacious bedroom and a pretty terrace, I really felt at home - and better - thanks to the wonderful care of the host, Beatrice . The location was convenient and the room is very peaceful as tucked in a quiet road but...

Very welcoming host, helped us plan our excursions, whipped out laptop to help me check train times and likely fares. Even checked the weather forecast to priorities trips. We had a day trip to Florence and she packed a comprehensive picnic which was large enough to act as lunch. Friendly cat and small dog (a plus for us, but one...

A surprinsigly quiet be and brakfast - for milan - and an excellent welcome in a stately building. Not quite in the centre, but there are plenty of buses and trams to go to the Duomo. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

How often do you enjoy your stay and like the owner of the B&B so much that you want to invite them to dinner? Well, that was our experience with Beatrice at B&B Althea. We stayed 2 nights on arrival in Italy and one more before we departed, with 2 weeks in between. B&B Althea was the biggest, most comfortable...

In B&B Althea there is only one room, you have your own bedroom, bathroom and small living aea to yourself, with stairs connected to Beatrice's apartment above, where she serves simple but delicious breakfast. The bedroom is very pretty and comfortable, and Beatrice's apartment is very classy with vintage books and furniture. We loved staying there, it was something special.

A friend and I stayed at B&B Althea November 2012. It is one short bus ride from the Linate airport, and tucked away on a quiet side street that is still a 5 minute walk from many bus lines and the Metropolitana that takes you all over. Within 10 minutes youre at the Duomo, etc. Beatrice is the host with...

This review is LONG overdue! We traveled in October 2011 and stayed for three nights. Beatrice welcomed us into her home and ensured that we had an enjoyable stay. From the moment we came in, she sat down with us and gave us much needed information about Milan and things to do while we were there. There is only one...

“It is not the easiest to find. When on the right street find the building labelled '3' on the left hand side (building before the one covered in wisteria) and then one is labelled 'althea' rather than a surname, so buzz that.”
