The location is great, 10 minutes walk to Duomo or the Castello Sforzesco, in an area with lots of shops and nice restaurants. The room wasn't very big, but our stay was very pleasant. The bathroom and the room are cleaned daily, the wifi works perfectly and is free, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Extremely convenient location, comfortable bed, nice room, quiet, good breakfast, no gym despite it being advertised as having one, but we were very adequately compensated for this, thankyou. 2 parking spots available, advise booking ahead. Would definitely stay here again

In a quiet street just off via Dante and within 12-15 minutes walk of the Duomo and the Galleria, these apartments are a treat. We had a corner suite with ds in a man-cave in the galleried upstairs. The building itself is fantastic with a sweeping spiralled staircase and tapestry hangings. Don't be put off by the blank and austere...

We stayed at this hotel for one night after arriving in Milano late afternoon and before continuing on to the Cinque Terre. The hotel was very nice. The room was large, clean and included a kitchenette. The location was quiet. I can recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

We booked three rooms all on the 3rd floor. They were all apartments with full kitchens, eating area, snacks and drinks in the mini fridge, separate bedroom and large bathroom. The living room had a sleeper sofa. No lotion or robes in the bathroom but there was toothpaste and toothbrushes. Slippers were provided. The hotel was walking distance to the...

Walking distance to many attractions and yet located on a fairly quiet street, this apartment was a great place to spend a few days. No 12 was incredibly spacious and very clean. The closets in the bedroom were large enough to hold plenty of luggage and the bathroom rain shower was heaven after a day of sight-seeing. The bed was...

Ideal place if you want to visit Milan's historical centre while staying in an understated luxury hotel with lovely rooms & suites. The hotel is located in a former Milanese palace, so you can expect high ceilings and a few pieces of art that remind you of its prestigious past.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
